Alisha's Pov

The revelation about the embezzlements in the company sent shockwaves through my mind. I couldn't believe that my own secretary, Radhika, was involved in such illicit activities. It felt like a betrayal of trust, a breach of the professional relationship we shared.

Aniket's potential involvement added another layer of complexity to the situation. He had always been a trusted colleague, and the suspicion around his role in the embezzlement scheme was deeply unsettling. I couldn't help but wonder if there were hidden motives at play or if he had fallen victim to the manipulation himself.

As the day's sunlight streamed through my office window, I knew I had a daunting task ahead. I knew I needed to gather more information, I had to confront the accused , Radhika and Mr maheshwari and i had taken the decisive action to protect my company's integrity. The trust i had placed in my team was now in question, and I was determined to uncover the truth, no matter where it led.

After my  relentless pursuit of the truth had finally uncovered the real story behind the embezzlement. The weight of suspicion had been lifted from Aniket's shoulders, revealing him as an unwitting pawn in Radhika's scheme. It was a relief to know that he had been innocent all along and had no prior knowledge of Radhika's actions.

As I  pieced together the details of the embezzlement scheme, it became clear that Radhika had operated in secrecy, hiding her true intentions from both me and An..Mr Maheshwari. The betrayal ran deep, and it was a harsh reminder of the deceit that could lurk beneath the surface, even within a trusted team.

My phone buzzed incessantly, drawing my attention away from my thoughts and plans. When I glanced at the screen and saw over 500 text messages from Aradhaya. None of them appeared to be in a cheerful tone, and it was evident that something had gone awry regarding the deal I had canceled with Ani....Mr maheshwari.

As I started to read through the messages, a sense of urgency , irritation and frustration leaped off the screen. Aradhaya's disappointment and concern were palpable. It was clear that she had invested a lot in the deal and had high hopes for its success. I felt a small pang of guilt for not communicating the decision with Aradhaya earlier.

"Bitch you better have a good reason for cancelling that deal.. Don't give me that shit ki woh time pe nahi aaya isiliye maine woh deal cancel kar diya.. Hum dono jante hein the level of profit jo yeah deal tumhe de rehi thi was something ek single company khud kama nahi sakti hai "  Aradhya's voice echoed through the blasting speaker of my phone

"Meri baat sun "

"Nahi tum meri baat suno i don't know ki tum kaise kya karogi... Par kal shyaam tak yeah deal on honi chahiye otherwise Alisha Singhaniya ap humara ghussa  dekhengi " And then she hunged the phone on my face

"Daammnnn ittt!!! " I sighed

"Arrange a meeting with the Maheshwari's tomorrow early in the morning "  I said to my receptionist through the intercom

"Surely mam "

*after half an hour*

The phone on the table ranged breakin my flow of work

"Yes Shristi .. Tell me you have some good news"

"Unfortunately no mam... The Maheshwari's said that tomorrow their not takin any meeting due to festivities."

"Which festivities is going on right now that require them "

"Mam kal Gangour hai "

"I know that.... But.... Acha leave that see if they are available to hold a meeting today or not  "
