Aniket's Pov
A shrill shriek pierced the usual office calm, jolting me out of my concentration. In a flash, I was on my feet, ready to face whatever crisis had erupted. Throwing open the door of my office, I scanned the room, my gaze landing on a sight that made me want to groan.
There, in a far corner, nestled together like two lovebirds, were Aaradhaya and Aditya. An exasperated sigh escaped my lips.
"Guysssss, get a room, pleaseeee!" I announced, my voice laced with mock seriousness.
Startled, they sprung apart, their faces flushing a crimson red. Aaradhaya, ever the flustered one, stammered, "Bhai, what are you doing here? Didn't you have a meeting just now?"
"Madam, kindly consult your watch," I retorted, a hint of amusement creeping into my voice. "My meeting ended a good hour ago."
"And please, yaar," I continued "get a room for yourself guyssss" I gestured vaguely towards them, a playful smile on my lips.
Aditya, ever the jester, threw his head back and let out a loud chuckle. "bhai ap rehne do ek baar bass alisha bhabhi ko office mein aane do ap bass ap na pyaar mein pagal hue romeo ki tarah nahi ghume toh humara naam bhi ADITYA MAHESHWARI nahi."
I countered his playful taunt with a smirk of my own. "taiyar ho ja bete dusra naam khoj le ab toh"
Just then, Aaradhaya chimed in, her voice laced with excitement. "Are Alisha, aap kab aayi?"
My head snapped towards the direction of her gaze, a surge of hope flickering in my chest. Could Alisha truly be here, surprising me at work? But as I turned, my heart sank. The space behind me was empty. A wave of realization dawned on me – I'd been royally pranked.
The sound of stifled laughter from Aditya and Aaradhaya confirmed my suspicion. Deciding to play along, I feigned annoyance. I pulled out my phone, pretending to dial a number, and marched back into my office, muttering to myself.

Lost in the labyrinth of work emails, I barely registered Aaradhya's entrance into my office.
"Bhai, shopping kab kar rahe ho?" she inquired, her voice laced with mock seriousness.
"Kapde hain humare paas. Hume shopping ki zaroorat nahi hai," I replied, my attention glued to the laptop screen.
"Pajama mein shaadi nahi hone wali, hum bata dein," she continued, her playful demeanor morphing into a playful threat. "Hum humari behen ko dhang se vida karenge, samjhe?"
A chuckle escaped my lips. "Ji ji, samjh gaye hum," I conceded, not tearing my gaze away from the screen.
Just then, the door creaked open. Assuming it was Aditya entering to whisk Aaradhya away, I didn't bother looking up.
"Ash, aap aa gayi! Aapki meeting khatam ho gayi?" Aaradhya chirped.
"Radhe, aapke ek prank baar baar nahi chalega," I countered jokingly, keeping my eyes fixed on the laptop.
But the air, previously devoid of any fragrance, was suddenly filled with a sweet aroma – vanilla with a hint of floral notes. My head snapped up, and there she was, a vision in pink.
Alisha stood bathed in the soft afternoon light, looking breathtakingly beautiful....She looked breathtaking in a pink suit adorned with a delicate floral print. A stylish bag hung from her hand, and her eyes, forever captivating, sparkled with a special twinkle today, enhanced by the kohl that rimmed them. To top it all off, a crimson kumkum adorned her forehead, adding an ethereal glow to her face.
