Sakura slumped into Ino's bed, the mattress sinking due to the weight applied and Ino jumped in next to her. The pinkette shook her hair out of her face and slid her phone out of her pocket, wrapping the duvet around her legs. Ino rested her head on the pinkette's shoulders, sneaking a look into her phone.
"Soo? How did the wedding go?" She smirked and Sakura rolled her eyes.
"Don't hold your breath pig. I instead became Mikoto's official daughter which is a plus for me."
"Wait but you're getting married to her son, isn't that-"
"And how is your relationship with Sai?" Ino pursed her lips, hugging her leg with a sigh.
"I don't know. It's like- he so innocent it's cute," Sakura hummed, a mischievous smirk playing on her lips, "Don't smirk at me missy. I'm definitely not good enough for him, I fall in love with every hot guy I see even when I have a husband babes, I'm gonna break his heart. If I were to be in a relationship, it's got to be with someone who doesn't give a shit about what I do."
"Shikamaru?" Ino clicked her finger,
"Shikamaru! I mean asides from being the laziest bitch I've ever met he's actually a chill guy, you get me?" Sakura pursed her lips, looking sceptically at her friend, "What is that supposed to mean? He's hot right?" Sakura remained silent and Ino flashed a knowing and sly smirk, "Ah~ I must not pressure on who has her heart set out for someone else into adulatory," she hummed, dropping her head in her shoulder.
"Oh shut up. Says the one fantasising over her childhood best friend when she's already engaged." Ino rolled her eyes at the pinkette. Just the, Temari walked in with a tray of juice and biscuits lined carefully a tray. "Hi Tem."
"Hey, what are you beautiful bitches talking about?" She sang, lowering the tray in the middle of the bed.
"Sakura's dream guy has a duck-ass haircut."
"No he doesn't! Says the one who has a thing for her childhood friend!" Ino laughed at her friend and Temari joined in, but she was quiet, unconsciously biting her lower lip from time to time as they spoke. She looked down at her fingers, her nails chipped due to her always biting in them. "Temari~ Wanna go to the nail salon for New Years Nails?" Sakura asked, ignoring what Ino had said to her.
"Hmm? Oh," she lifted her hand, flaunting her nail, "How did you know?" She laughed dryly, "I can actually. Have you booked one yet?"
"Not yet. Hinata and I are gonna check next week, I'll ask Tenten as well. It can be a girls day out before school starts." The sandy blonde hummed, nodding her head. Her phone rang and she looked down at the person calling. She purses her lips, shifting her phone away from her and sipping nervously from her cup. "Who's calling?"
"It's not important," Temari shook her head but Sakura raised an eyebrow at her suspiciously, "Why are you looking at me like that? It's just Shikamaru, not important." Sakura hummed, her suspicious look lingering,
"I think you should answer. You two have a date tomorrow don't you?" Tensei bit her lips, peering down at her phone. "Don't worry, we'll sake some cookies for you so to talk to your boyfriend~" Sakura sang, smiling mischievously at the sandy blonde who blushed a furious shade of red as she stomped out of the room.
Taking a deep breath, she answered the call and shakily put it to her ears, clearing her throat. "Hello?" She sang, trying to mask the nervousness in her voice.
"You finally picked up," his tired and lazy voice answered back and she could hear his smile.
"I'm with Sakura and Ino, you should understand what I'm going through right now,"
