"We wish you a merry Christmas~" Sakura hollowed, dancing down the stairs with a box of Christmas tree decorations in her hands, "We wish you a merry Christmas, we wish you a merry Christmas......!"

"And a happy new year!" Itachi finished, spinning towards her after setting up the Christmas tree. "Singing is probably the only good thing you're decent at," he hummed, taking a bauble from the box. The pinkette pouted, dropping the box next to the tree.

"At least I'm good at something!" She continued her pouting as she went back up to the storage to get the remaining tree decorations, singing more Christmas songs. Itachi shook his head with a laugh, then turned to face the artificial tree that stood at the corner of the massive sitting room.

From corner to corner hung sparkling white, green and red ribbons and garlands with hollies and berries fixed into them. A star hung at the end of the chandelier so when turned on, it gave the room an orange glow. The place was decorated warm and cosy and the older Uchiha smiled.

Just then, his younger brother shuffled in, hands in pockets and eyes still half open. He hissed at the bright light from all the decorations, squinting his eyes then turned to his brother, "Why are you invading my space? You have filled my bed with a bunch of prickly stuff that will poke my ass at night," he complained, pointing at the decorated sofa and Itachi looked at him with a deadpan gaze,

"You and Sakura are still fighting?"

"When you learn how to talk to girls and people in general, you'll come and ask me the second reason why I'm angry," he mimicked rolling his eyes, "She's not even talking to me." His last sentence was a mutter as he kicked a shiny bauble that had fallen to the floor. Itachi slapped a pillow into his face as he tried to stifle his laughter making Sasuke glare even more.

"You're so cute," he cooed, "You're definitely my younger brother," he giggled silently to himself, childishly placing the star on top of the tree and lighting it up. He looked up at his hard work with a content sigh, a smile tugging at his lips, then turned to ruffle Sasuke's hair before leaving the room.

The younger Uchiha barely slapped his hand away as he walked slowly towards the sofa and dropped himself on, releasing a loud sigh. He glared at the bright-coloured lights, biting unconsciously at his lower lip. Why was he so cold and unapproachable? Was there a reason or a situation that triggered it or was he just a naturally snobby and bratty child?

He pursed his lips at the thought, not the latter for sure. One thing was certain however, he had immense pride and his ego beat the tallest skyscrapers and he wasn't sure if he should be proud of that or not but it was one of those things that has always been with you.

His ego and pride were the reason he couldn't peel himself off the worn-out sofa and apologise to the pinkette for what, if he was being stupidly honest, he had no idea about. Actually, she should be apologising to him, calling him an emo depressed man straight out of an American Movie, because what kind of insult was that? He frowned. She should apologise.

With this nonsensical thought in mind, the younger Uchiha propped himself up and off the sofa, then made his way slowly towards his room where he was sure the pinkette had completely invaded. As he drew closer he could hear her voice as she screamed at someone or something.

"No matter what you say I'm not gonna do it!...No! Absolutely not!...Bitch- you know what? I will do it only when that emo duck apologises to me...it's not gonna take long? Hah, you'll wait for a billion years and that guy ain't gonna say shit to you. I don't even think the word 'sorry' is in his dictionary or does he know what it means...you're making a grave mistake pig I'm never gonna do that."
