"Liebe," I heard Tom say quietly. "You've been staring at the wall for like twenty minutes. What's going on?" I looked over at him. "Emma is with Felix," I told him and his eyes widened.
"Yeah," I said with scoff. "I'm not upset or angry with her, I'm just in shock. Out of all people, Felix?" I told him and he sat down next to me. "I told her she could bring a plus one to the wedding and it's probably going to be him."
"So, what? I'd like the chance to rub it in his face some more that I was the one who ended up with you," Tom teased and I rolled my eyes. "Oh, I'm sure you would," I told him.
"It's just going to be awkward," I said and he shrugged his shoulders. "I tried to leave things off on a good note because I didn't want us to hate each other, but you never know I guess." I paused. "I wonder why Emma never told me until now."
"She probably thought it would make you upset," Tom suggested. "Yeah, no, I get that. She knew me and you were together, so why would I be upset over that?"
"Dunno, baby," He mumbled before leaving back on the couch and bringing his eyes to the television. The doorbell rang and I heard footsteps coming down the stairs. "Tom," My brother said. "Help me with the pizzas."
"How many did you get?" Tom asked as he pushed himself off the couch to a standing position. "Only four but I got drinks and shit too," Gustav said and I blocked out the rest of the conversation.
I looked over at the other sofa to see Bill still sound asleep so I stood up and quietly walked over to him. I laid myself on top of him and heard him groan. "Damn, Gustav, your couch sure is lumpy!"
Tom and Gustav both laughed as the front door shut. "Charlotte, get off," Bill mumbled onto the couch and I slowly rolled off of him. "Time to wake up sleepy head. Food is here." I told him and he slowly brought himself to a sitting position.
"Mhm," He hummed in response and I rolled my eyes playing before heading into the kitchen to get some pizza. "Bill awake yet?" Angelina asked and I nodded. "Somewhat," I told her and she laughed.
"I can't believe we're leaving tomorrow," I said as I pushed out my bottom lip. "I know! It went by so fast!" Annalise said in agreement. "Yeah, but we have to get home. Have to make sure everything is looking okay."
I put my hand on my stomach and everyone cooed. "Alright," I said, embarrassed, and they all chuckled softly. "What do you want, Liebe?" I heard Tom ask me. "I can get it, babe," I told him as I shooed him away.
"Yes, ma'am," He said before getting some food for himself and I laughed quietly. "So, what's this I hear Felix is dating Emma?" Georg asked and I nodded slowly. "Yep," I mumbled. "A year and a half apparently."
"She didn't tell you until now?" He asked and I shrugged my shoulders. "I mean, I can see why she wouldn't. Imagine if Tom and I broke up and then you started dating me. You wouldn't want to tell Tom, would you?"
"Ew, gross, you're like a sister to me," He said and I rolled my eyes. "Hypothetically, of course," I told him. "No, I get it," He said. "Did you ever hear anything from Felix?" I asked him and he shook his head.
"On the ride home that night when he and Tom fought, he told me that out of respect for you, he probably wouldn't contact me for a while," Georg paused. "I never heard from him again."
"Damn," Tom chimed in. "Dude was really salty." He said with a laugh. "Yeah, let's just stop talking about it for now," I mumbled before picking up a slice of pizza and taking a bite.
After we finished eating we all gathered in the living room, talking about anything and everything we could think of. "I hope you guys would want to be in the wedding party," I told Annalise and Angelina.
