You and me
Overcame a lot
We've toiled through
Until the end

And even though
Our path was rough
You've stayed by me
Through and through

An over-used clichè
I'll say
But
It's true for us
For I feel as if
I can trust you with anything
And everything

You've been my best friend
Almost my whole life
And I hope
