Me Enid and Wednesday are standing side by side at the harvest festival looking at Tyler as he is talking to his father.
"Are you sure y'all can trust that normie?" Enid said suspecting Tyler with something.
"Dad, I didn't know they were gonna be here," Tyler said to his father after his father pointed towards us.
"That's why you're here." Sheriff Galpin said.
They continued their argument which we could barely hear unless we listened closely.
"I trust that we can handle him and if not then I'll handle him myself," Wednesday said to Enid.
"I don't want you talking to them and especially him. I want you home by noon." Sheriff Galpin said.
"1:00," Tyler said.
"12:30." Sheriff Galpin said as he walked away.
"Well, good luck and safe travels for you two," Enid said as she tried to hug Wednesday first which he declined.
"Still not a hugger, got it," Enid said.
Enid turned towards me and gave me a tight hug which I gave her right back. After she hugged me I patted her head.
"Don't worry I'll try not to get into any trouble without you," I said with amusement.
"Yeah right. Love ya." Enid said as she laughed and walked away.
I turned my head towards Wednesday to see him staring at Principal Weems who sat close by at a picnic wooden table.
Principal Weems stared at Wednesday with a smirk as if telling him I dare you to try something.
Wednesday turned towards me and glanced down at me while he nudged my shoulder telling me to follow him. Wednesday and I walked over to one of the stand balloon popping games.
As we got there Wednesday bought a few plays to try and hit the balloons with a dart. I tried 3 and I only got one to hit one of the balloons and pop them.
"Let me do it," Wednesday said as he noticed me struggling.
I moved over to the side to let him do his thing.
Wednesday picked up the darts that were left and started throwing them one by one hitting every ballon target with each one he threw.
Xavier walked over and leaned down and glanced at me then looked up at Wednesday.
"Jeez, if you get any better at this, you'll be taking home a whole pack," Xavier said to Wednesday.
"Pandas don't travel in packs. They prefer solitude." I said to Xavier after remembering a fact Wednesday told me.
