Streaks of sunlight peeking through the slits of the window curtain woke Roseanne up that weekend. It was a good sleep. Probably the most decent sleep she had in a while. She honestly thinks she should try to fix her fucked up sleeping schedule, not to mention, her lifestyle from now on.

The bags under your eyes aren't Gucci.

She lets out a breathy chuckle at the reminder of Jisoo's words. Great, and now she's laughing all by herself. She should really work out on her wellness now.

Slowly getting up, she stretches her arms out through her half-lidded eyes and pulls off the blanket from her body. After her short visit in her hometown, she decided to go back to her condo when her car arrived. She would've wanted to stay a little longer and meet up with Wendy as well, but there are certain someones in the place that she's not ready to face just yet.

In due time, perhaps.

Turning to the digital clock on the bedside table, she takes note of how early it still is. She's got a lot of time in her hands, not just today, but for the succeeding days as well. After learning about the bachelorette party and her ex fiancée's return, she shut down everything related to work and ran away from her manager. She knew she had schedules to attend and she knew her manager wouldn't let her skip them, but she couldn't let the chance of meeting her former friends pass. It was not a good move, but she needed to do it.

Thinking about work drains her. But, thinking about not doing anything drains her even more.

So, what the hell would she do now?

Tossing her sheets in the side, Roseanne got out of bed and decided to have a quick jog first. Her months-long tour didn't allow her enough free time for some work out, and the ache on her back is starting to take its toll on her so perhaps going back to fitness would do something good on her body cramps.

After changing into some active wear and plugging in her Airpods, a good TLC playlist punched in, the singer stepped out of her unit and strode around the apartment complex. She's gotten comfortable running in the area with no disguise over time when she learned how her neighbors were kind enough to respect her personal space. Sure, some were head turning and snapping a second look when they see her, but that's only a normal reaction if someone sees an A-lister celebrity walks past them.

It was thirty minutes into the jog when Roseanne felt dryness in her throat and was about to go get something to drink, when she saw a very familiar sedan parked just outside the fences of the apartment complex. She squinted her eyes and made a clacking sound with her tongue when the driver of the car rolled the window down, waving a hand at her in a very unserious manner.

The person was wearing a bucket hat, a round granny glasses, and a thick scarf wrapped around their neck up to their nose. Roseanne would've laughed her arse off if she hadn't thought about how it would cause attention so she instead walked casually towards the car, trying so hard not to crack up at her friend's cover up.

"Now why are you here very early in the morning, queen of disguise?", the singer asked once she's settled in the passenger seat.

"Well, good morning to you, too, R", Suzy answered while unwrapping the scarf from her neck, "And I believe you're treating me breakfast today."

"And when did I say that?"

"Nah, I decided on it myself."

Roseanne squinted her eyes at her friend in skepticism, which made the other girl chuckle. It was no surprise, honestly, since the actress would pop out every now and then to drag her to lunch or dinner or basically anywhere just to hang out with her. Suzy would always say that she's bored and that boredom will kill her if she doesn't go out, but she knew it's her way of cheering her up. She doesn't know either but the girl always sensed whenever she's troubled. Whenever she needs someone to just stay. For the past year, Suzy's been there with and for her.
