Ichigo and Orihime had gotten married on a calm November morning amongst the orange and red leaves of autumn. Ichigo had been grinning like an idiot since he'd gotten Orihime to say yes. It was when he'd told everyone that they were engaged that he realized that everyone knew about their feelings for one another since highschool. Only he and Orihime probably knew that it started since his last year of middle school. It wasn't a very huge wedding but it was memorable. They had paid their respects to Sora and Masaki before tying the knot. Orihime had thanked the late lady for protecting Ichigo and Ichigo had thanked Sora for raising Orihime. They each wished that the ones precious to them were present but they were glad that they had others to share in their joy.

A month before, Orihime had moved in with Ichigo. He'd remodeled the house for the both of them to live in and for the time when they would become parents. It didn't take long after they had wedded. Orihime had been afraid when she discovered she was pregnant. She was afraid of being an awful parent like her own who had abused her and Sora. Ichigo assured her that she would do just fine. He had been excited when she told him. He also had his fears but when he looked at Orihime, he knew it would be alright. They would raise the little life they created together with all the love and compassion that they could give.

Orihime had been very moody during her pregnancy. She had occasional mood swings and Ichigo had been upset when she yelled at him for the first time. When Renji explained that it was the hormones, he became more understanding and treated most of her tantrums with love and care. At some point she'd gotten paranoid about her weight gain but Ichigo usually kissed her round belly and explained to her through his words and actions that he loved her new body and that he wasn't bothered by her gaining weight at all. If anything, he thought he was a pervert for finding her larger breasts, curvier hips and behind very arousing. He would get fistfuls of her softness whenever they wanted to rest for the night and he loved the way her eyes lit up when their child gave a kick or two.
