ANGELA ATTACHED THE GLOWING VEST TO HER BODY, gripping the laser gun in her other hand. She was ready to play laser tag against the guys.

They suddenly ran into a problem. "We have uneven numbers. One of the teams has to have four people," Steven pointed out.

"We'll take Skye," Belly decided.

"Not fair." Conrad shook his head.

Angela smirked, looking at him playfully. "I think you can handle it, Connie. Remember when you were so confident minutes ago?"

He stepped closer, looking her up and down. "I'll show you, Angel."

Conrad moved back to his place with his team. Skye put her vest on, and the two teams whispered together, discussing their plans.

"Let's do this!" Taylor shouted as they all cheered intimidatingly.

"Alright, everyone. Games are are best of five rounds. The first and last rounds, everybody plays, the middle rounds it's a one on one competition, so choose your best fighter," Angela explained.

Taylor jumped up a little, pointing at Angela. "You, obviously!"

Angela smiled. Taylor was always so supportive.

"Three, two, one, go!" Jeremiah shouted, sprinting as soon as he could. Angela could barely hear him anymore. "First to twenty-one wins!"

Angela sprinted, nodding at Belly as their team separated. She crouched a bit, swiftly moving through the dark course, her laser gun ready at all times.

It was now the final game. It was tied.

She heard shuffling, and she immediately tensed up. Angela turned the corner, spotting Steven out of the corner of her eye.

She quietly crept up, shooting him as many times as it allowed her.

"Damn it, Ang!"

There was another sound of footsteps. "Is that Angel I hear?"

Conrad. Angela froze, her eyes meeting with Steven's. He could tell she still liked Conrad, couldn't he?

Angela snapped out of it, running as fast as she could to a part of the course she assumed and hoped nobody was on.

She did happen to run into Skye on the way, giving them a nod of approval as they crossed paths.

Now Angela was sure there was no one else with her as she hid behind a wall. She was catching her breath.

That's until she heard footsteps again. And a voice to go with it.

"Angelll, come out wherever you are. Don't hide from me."

Conrad was trying to sound intimidating and seductive (which was working), but she couldn't take him seriously when she heard his little giggle.

That made Angela laugh a little bit too.

His footsteps stopped for a moment. "I hear you."

Conrad's footsteps were quicker this time, and before Angela knew it, she was face to face with him. Conrad turned the corner, and she was still leaning and crouching at the wall.

"Aren't you going to shoot me, dummy?" Angela giggled.

Conrad could probably win the game for his team right now depending on how well everyone else was doing.

And Angela could shoot him. She just remembered that factor. Angela reached for her laser gun, but Conrad went to stop her. His hand brushed against hers as he gripped onto her gun.
