ANGELA AND CONRAD FOUND A PLACE FOR EVERYONE TO REST AT. They had gathered pillows and blankets too. It was an old movie theater room.
It was just them in there.
There were many single black classic movie theater seats. But there was also one longer seat that could fit around two people.
Angela sat down in the longer seat, hoping to stretch her legs out and lay down. Her plan was ruined when Conrad sat down next to her.
"We have this whole room and you sit here, Connie?"
Conrad chuckled, moving even closer. "What if I just want to be closer to you?"
Angela recognized how close they were getting. She could feel the spark that was between them growing again. She felt how she used to feel around him. Angela felt love boil within her, and she could tell Conrad felt it too.
"I'm going to make you move, idiot."
He smirked. "I'd like to see you try."
Angela huffed, trying her best to lift and then to push Conrad off the couch. He wasn't budging. Angela sighed, trying her best.
Then she felt a pair of arms wrap around her and pull her closer. Goosebumps appeared on her skin.
Angela turned around, looking Conrad in the eyes. Their bodies were touching, and they were sitting so close.
"You are so annoying."
"Well, what can I say? It's my job to annoy you."
Angela was staring at Conrad's lips at this point. He noticed, and he was nervous. She knew that he was nervous.
"Angel, can I tell you something?"
Angela was leaning in closer. "Anything."
"I still have feelings for you."
This was what Angela's been waiting to hear her whole life. She had always wondered if Conrad felt the same way, and he does. He likes her.
She felt so warm. And so happy.
"Me too," she whispered.
Conrad's hand traveled down her cheek as Angela began to lean in. She pressed her lips against his, and felt something so special but also something so familiar.
Her hands were caught up in his hair, and Conrad leaned further forward, kissing her as if it was his mission.
Her back was against the couch as Conrad advanced, gently pushing her against it. Angela felt like she was in heaven.
Conrad suddenly pulled away as Angela continued to recover from the amazing thing that just happened. He was having a moment of realization.
"Angel."
He sounded serious now.
"Yeah?"
"What about Jere-"
Conrad stoped mid sentence, staring at something behind Angela. They were still in the same position as before, and anyone would be able to tell what they were doing.
"Angie, what's going on?" Belly exclaimed.
Angela turned around in a panic. This was exactly what she feared. Everyone's reactions to finding out her and Jere were in a fake relationship. How was she supposed to explain this?
"Uh, hi Belly."
She looked disgusted. "You know that I'm going to tell Jeremiah, right?"
"You don't have to tell me," Jeremiah said firmly, walking into the room, the entire rest of the group behind him.
Now everyone was here. Angela was exposed and she suddenly didn't feel good about what she did. She felt guilty practically sitting on top of Conrad right now.
Everyone seemed to be against her right now, maybe aside from Jere.
Steven turned to his friend, a puzzled look on his face. "You're ok with your girlfriend cheating on you with your own brother?!"
Jeremiah was trying his best to calm everyone down, but it wasn't working. Cam did what he normally did, which was awkwardly standing off to the side and being neutral. Skye joined him this time.
"She wasn't cheating on me. We were never really dating."
In that moment, Conrad stood up from the couch. He was processing everything through deep breaths.
He stood before Jeremiah. And Conrad looked agonized. That familiar look in his eyes told Angela everything she needed to know.
"So, none of this was real?" Conrad looked over at Angela. "You did all of this just to make me jealous?"
She was speechless. Conrad furiously turned back to Jere. "This was your idea, wasn't it?"
Jeremiah scoffed. "You're the one who assumed that we were dating in the first place. Angie and I just played along with it. You've neglected her all these months and this is what it takes to get your attention?"
Angela really didn't want all of this to turn into a fight. She could have stopped this. She should of just let her and Conrad's relationship fade away rather than causing an argument between the brothers she loved so dearly.
"You think I've forgotten about her? I thought about her everyday. The only time you needed her was when it was convenient for you," Conrad spat back.
"I thought you'd get jealous. It clearly worked."
Angela decided that it was time to get involved. She walked in between the brothers, immediately facing Conrad.
"Conrad, I'm sorry. You're right. I shouldn't have done this. I was just so desperate to get you back..."
Conrad's anger seemed to turn to admiration when Angela spoke to him. "I was too."
Conrad gave Jere one last look in the eye before pulling Angela in for another kiss. She was surprised, but was not objected to it.
As soon as they pulled apart, Jeremiah stared and began to speak rather hesitantly. "There's only one problem."
Conrad crossed his arms. "And that is?"
"I think I fell for Angela."
