Revenge is a bitch.

My name is Missariene Marol and I am a witch. I live in the world of magic, where even the schools are far from non-magical human knowledge. Though, there is one secret that even my friends don't know, my life's most important secret, Aaroline. Aaroline Xav, my mother's sister, my aunt.

Years ago, my mom was pregnant with me. A very well-known fortune-teller came to my parents to give them her regards. As soon as she came in our house, she had a vision. "Your daughter shall be the ruin of your sister, as her evil deeds will catch your daughter's eye." Aaroline caught news of this prophecy and tried to hunt me down. Before she could, my parents killed her before shortly after dying themselves because of her. While Aaroline's life was leaving her, a curse was cast upon me. "When I die, I shall share Missariene's body with her soul!"

November 4, 2018 (Present)-

11 years have passed and somehow Aaroline has escaped my body. She is roaming around freely and no one can stop her. As far as I know, that means we're dead.

August 18, 2013-

I opened my eyes as if I just woke up from a deep sleep. It was chaos. Six kids in my orphanage were on the ground, crying. They were hurt.

"Are you okay?"

"Don't hurt us! Get away!" The kids winced away from me, as if their lives depended on it.

"Little poor things, TSK TSK TSK." The menacing voice echoed in my head, the voice of my dead aunt.

She hurt them, she hurt my friends. It's not my fault, it's not.

The Present-

"What are we going to do?" I panted. "Now that Aaroline is gone, she can do anything!"

"Rain, relax. You should be glad she's gone, you've finally escaped hell." thought Fern.

"Fern, you don't understand! She is my nightmare. Who knows what she'll do!" I stated. I started having delusions of all the ways how Aaroline could hurt, even kill, my friends. I started shaking, but then I felt someone's arms embrace me.

"Calm down, she won't be able to do a thing," soothed Zain, "besides, we can protect ourselves, we'll all be fine."

God, this isn't the time to blush. I thought. But Zain is right, calm down. Everything will be fine, everything will be just fine.

(11:27 pm)-

-Eastern Common Room (Hogwarts)-

"Where is she?" I asked Zain. Fern went to the washroom twenty minutes ago, and she has yet to come back.

"Don't freak out, it's nothing bad. I'll go ask the boys in my dorm to help find her. Rain, you and Mionly go get the girls, and get back here. We'll make a plan to find her." I barely nodded before dashing to the girls' dormitory. Three minutes later, almost the entire school population was present at the common room, in pyjamas.

"Okay, break up in groups of five. Each group will search in a different place. In order from group one, you will search in the athletic room, the major and minor gymnasiums, the courtyard, the south common room, the classrooms within the east tower, as well as within the west, south, and north towers, the main corridors, the male and female washrooms, the boys' dorm, and the girls' dorm of No House. The teachers will search the remaining places and as well as supervise the whole search. You may begin the search whenever your group is ready. And please inform a teacher immediately when you have found Ms. Fern Risebeck." Instructed the Head of No House, Mr. Liegens Donan, he is in charge of the campus and dorms at night. At the name of Fern, everyone dispersed to different directions of the academy. My group was in charge of the main corridors.
