"Goa... we're really here," Neha whispered first, almost as if she didn't trust the moment to be real. Then, suddenly, her excitement burst out of her. "Wow! Goa! I can't believe we're actually here!" she exclaimed, dropping her bags carelessly on the floor of Ram's beach house.

The sound of her voice pulled everyone's attention. The living room was already alive—Ram laughing, Vikram leaning back casually, Karthik and Rishabh joking around, while Priya, Soumya, Natasha... and even Isha were there. The air felt warm, full of laughter, like a moment frozen in happiness.

"Baby, are you okay?" Vikram asked, a soft smile on his lips as he looked at Neha, amused by her excitement.

"Okay?" Neha laughed, her eyes sparkling. "I'm more than okay—I'm thrilled!"

This trip meant freedom, escape... maybe even something more for each of them.

Priya sat quietly on the sofa, but her world felt far from calm. Her eyes were fixed—completely, helplessly—on Ram. The way he spoke, the way he smiled... everything about him pulled her in.

She didn't know when it had started.

She didn't know why.

But she knew one thing—it hadn't stopped.

And now, being here, in this house... as his wife—though only by compromise—made everything feel heavier. Closer. More real. More painful.

She watched him laugh with Vikram, completely lost in him, as if nothing else in the world existed.

"Hi, darling... who are you looking at?"

Neha's teasing voice broke through her thoughts like a sudden wave.

Priya blinked, startled, her heart skipping a beat. She hadn't even noticed Neha and Natasha sitting beside her.

"Oh... nothing," Priya said quickly, forcing a small smile as she looked away, her voice softer than she intended. "Just... lost in thought."

But deep inside, she knew the truth—

She wasn't lost in thought.

She was lost in him.

"Oh, denial!" Natasha's eyes lit up with mischief. "That definitely means you were staring at someone. Who was it?"

"I wasn't staring at anyone," Priya said quickly, her voice a little too firm, a little too rushed.

"Even more denial!" Neha clapped her hands dramatically, grinning. "That means it's love! 'Humko tumse pyaar hua, pehli baar hua...'"

"When did you become an expert at reading Priya Bhabhi's face?" Natasha shot back, raising an eyebrow.

"Come on, it's obvious," Neha said with a smug tilt of her head. "Besides, I can read everyone's faces like books."

"Since when?!?!" Natasha gasped, and just like that, the two were off—bickering, teasing, interrupting each other like always.

Their voices faded into the background for Priya.

Because once again... her eyes found him.

Ram.

He was laughing at something Vikram said, his smile effortless, his presence filling the room without even trying. Priya's breath hitched slightly. No matter how many times she told herself to stop... she couldn't.

She just couldn't.

Every glance felt like a secret she wasn't allowed to have.

She didn't notice when the arguing stopped.
