Tejasswi ’s pov

It had been two weeks to my marriage and everything was pretty smooth.. i was very much comfortable in karan’s company..

It was a weekend and mom dad had gone to some relatives place..oh.. did i talk abt relatives !? In past two weeks so many relatives came and i m glad they all like me ! Sanket was also not at home today.. and karan.. he had to leave urgently in the morning.. so i called unnati here and we spent a lot of quality time together.. karan never stopped me from calling unnati here and unnati and mom had become best of friends over the time.. i had already developed feelings for karan.. i know it.. i m scared to admit and confess it to him.. I don’t want my heart to be shattered into pieces!

Right now i am preparing dinner for karan.. his favourite..butter chicken and chicken tikka.. i just hope everything is fine in the ofc and he is fine there !

It was already past 11 but neither karan came home nor is he picking the calls ! I don’t know where is he ! The phone in the hall rung and i sprinted there.. i picked up the call..

“Hello ?” I said

“May i speak to any relative of mr karan Kundrra ?” The voice replied

“Yeah..yeah.. I’m..I’m his wife..” i replied

“Ma’am.. mr karan Kundrra  has been shot.. so he is here in the hospital.. it’s not critical as the bullet just touched through his arm’s surface.. please come and fill the formalities” what even ! I was shook..

“Oh..okay” i ended the call and palmed my face ! God i just hope he is not in too much pain ! I just ran out and called the driver ! He just drove to the hospital and i enquired the further details

Karan’s pov

I had to leave early morning because of some of my business ! Today was hell risky for everyone.. i got shot while saving one of my men.. thought the bullet just grazed through my arm.. i know ghar pe ab tak baat punch chuki hogi.. and i just hope Tejasswi  ko na pta chala ho because this is the last way i want to tell her abt all this.. i guess mom dad abhi karan aa chuke honge.. suddenly the door to my room opened and there she was.. my wifey.. i surely had fallen for her.. but the way she was so reserved.. i was scared to admit my feelings and it would hurt a lot to know that she doesn’t feel anything like that.. better to keep it neutral.. she looked so concerned.. she came in..

“Aap kaun hain ?” The nurse asked

“Sister..she’s my wife..” i told her and she nodded

“Ma’am please come with me and complete the formalities” she nodded and went out with nurse.. after sometime.. she came in and sat on the stool beside my bed..

“You okay ?” she asked softly and i nodded.. a tear slipped down her cheeks and i wiped it off

“Hey..i m fine Tejasswi .. see.. goli sirf chu ke nikli hai ! I m perfectly fine..come here” i held her hand and made her sit beside me.. and she rested her head on my chest

“You fine na ?” I rubbed her back and hummed.. she is so fragile.. it hurts to even think that someone can break her easily..

“Tejasswi ..I’m fine..” i kissed her head.. her phone rung and she went out

Tejasswi ’s pov

“Haan sanket” i picked the cal

“Bhabhi kidhar ho ? Itni raat ho gyi hai !” He asked and i sighed

“Hospital..tumhare bhai ko goli lgi hai !” He was silent for a minute

“Kahan ?” He asked and I frowned.. he was not at all tensed ??

“Arm pe ! Bus touch kr ke nikal gyi h goli” i told and he hummed

“Okay !” He answered and i shook my head

“Wait.. i said tumhare bhai ko goli lgi hai ! And you’re saying okay ?” I asked

“Bhabhi koi nayi baat ho toh alag trh se reply krun na ! Unhe aur humein.. aadat bhi hai is cheez ki..aur pta bhi hai.. soo..” he ended the call.. wtf he meant by koi nayi baat ho toh ? Wasn’t it the first time ?
