We were still sitting and i just pulled her onto my lap and she snuggled in my arms.. even i closed my eyes and somehow we both fell asleep like that

Next morning

I woke up and saw Tejasswi still sleeping in my arms.. i caressed her hair and cheeks.. she is my whole life and i was incomplete without her.. she is the only one who can make me feel content with what i am

“Teju..wake up doll..” i said and she snuggled in my neck..

“baby wake up.. it's morning already” she opened her eyes and looked at me with sleepy eyes.. she looked so fucking cute.. i kissed her forehead and she got up.. even i got up and pulled her in a hug..

“get freshened up.. phir ointment bhi lgani hai mujhe.. okay now be a good girl and wake up from the bed fast come on” she nodded and went into the bathroom.. while i went down and made coffee for her.. mom entered

“Karan.. Tejasswi thik hai ?” Mom asked and i nodded

“accha sun.. mere saath aaj shopping chlna pdega tujhe ! Mujhe Tejasswi ke liye lehenga lena hai diwali ke liye”

“Maa.. don’t you think ki humein diwali party cancel kr deni chahiye ?” I asked and mom shook her head

“Karan humein use normal feel krvana hai.. uske saath jo hua voh bhoolne mein help karana hai.. na ki yeh sab cancel krke aisa feel krana hai ki sachmein uske saath kuch hua hai !” I nodded

“vse tu kya gift de rha hai use ?” I smiled

“Let it be a surprise na maa” she smiled

“Accha ja.. use coffee de.. itne main uska fav breakfast banati hun !” I nodded and took it upstairs..

She came out of the bathroom wearing bathrobe.. i took the ointment from the table and went to her.. i applied the ointment on her wrist , collarbone and arms first and then her back.. after that she quickly changed into her clothes and had her coffee

We went down and had our breakfast and then mom and i left for shopping.. godd ! These women take so much time to shop things.. mom had bought the lehenga and even i bought a kurta in the same colour and then mom started shopping for herself.. i excuse my self and went out to buy a gift for Tejasswi..

After some time.. we went back and saw sanket and Tejasswi sitting together talking to each other.. i went to my room and hid the gift and then went down and talked to them for sometime.. after that Tejasswi and me came back to our room

“Your outfit is in your wardrobe. Go and wear it.” i told but she was a little hesitant to move.. i know why.. i went to her and pulled her in my embrace

“don’t worry baby.. diwali pe there’ll be just very close relatives and im not gonna leave your side even for a moment.. don’t worry okay. Now stop with you overthinking and get ready. I can't wait to your your look tonight. I'm sure you will look stunning as always. I love you Meri doll” i kissed her head and she closed her eyes

Tejasswi’s pov

Now i know why god was not so good to me earlier because he was waiting to bring karan into my life.. he was the best thing that could’ve ever happened to me.. and i love him so much ! I just can’t describe in words what he meant to me ! I looked at up at him and pecked his lips.. we parted and he kissed my forehead

“Thank you karan.. for calming me down.. agar tum nhi hote toh.. I don’t think m handle kr bhi paati ya nhi..” i said and he shook his head

“Aise kaise nhi hota.. shaadi hui hai.. you are my responsibility and priority.my wife and most importantly love of my life. I love you to the moon Meri jaan” he pecked my lips again and i reciprocated immediately making it a lingering kiss
