Two weeks later, Hajia and I drove past Bright's uncles place hoping he will be around this time and thank God he was around. We quickly drove to the police station and reported the case. We came back to his place with two armed police men to pick him up. When he saw us with the police men he froze, he tried to put up serious argument claiming Innocence and all that. He was eventually taken to the police station. We Brought Bright to the station and he made his statement alleging that the man in question has been physically abused him on different occasions and also attempted sexual abuse too and on a said date physically abused him that was life threatening. His uncle began apologizing begging that the case shouldn't go to court. Hajia decided not the press charges against him on a condition that she will take up responsibility of the boy for life by adopting him as I suggested. His uncle without hesitating agreed to it immediately and he wrote an undertaking and signed to that effect. Hajia also got their family layer and personal layer involved too, many documents and undertaking were written and signed by both Hajia, Bright's Uncle and Bright himself since he is 18yrs. All said and done, Bright officially and legally became Ethaniel Ebikeme Bright Alawei-Whyte.🤗🤗
