°◇° -Just a cute fic of you and Bill arguing of a name for a cat LMFAO this omes quite short shshs- DREADLOCK BILL ERA.
Me and my boyfriend Bill had recently welcomed a kitten into our home, it was a black cat, one with beautiful crystal blue eyes that stand out in the dark, he was truly beautiful!
We had went through all the processes, vaccines and checkups. We had planned this for about a month, as I the small kitten stood on the counter of table, he was truly ours now because of the bandana type collar we gave him. "Hey liebe, don't you think its time to name himmm" Bill drags out while sitting down on the barstool "Youre right! we already gave him a collar, we just need a name" I said while petting the cat. "How about..Max?" Bill says while smiling hopefully, "hmm" I hummed thinking deeply for a minute before finally coming up with "CHASE!" I exclaimed, Bill groaned throwing his head back, shoving his face onto his palms "omg thats good too" Bill mumbled, "Me too I cant choose either" I said while looking at the cat to see what name suits his physical appearance better.
Before long we had been sitting in the kitchen counter playing with the cat time to time while still thinking deeply for names. zit was like legally naming your child, "this name needs to stick" I said to Bill who was slouched over the kitchen counter "yeaugh." Bill groaned in a tired tone "I'm telling you! max suits better" Bill says sitting up properly, I look up at him saying "but Chase sounds great too!" I bit back.
"Okay at this point, I dont think we will be able to think of a name for the little guy" Bill says getting up from the stool, as he did an idea came into my mind.
"Hey Bill! how about we let HIM choose his name" Bill closed the fridge and turned to confusingly "what- what do you mean" he said chuckling slightly, "We let him choose his own name in this way, we put chase and max on two food bowls with treats inside, whatever bowl he goes to, that's gonna be his name" I explained, it sounded crazy but I feel like this will most likely work.
"Alright then, lets see if this will work" Bill said with doubt painted all over his face.
We took out papers with our desired names, and filled the bowls with food. We then placed the bowls on the floor, Chase being on the right and Max on the left, we placed him on the floor and watched intently as he took his time picking which bowl to go to.
It looked like he was going towards Bills bowl, causing a huge grin to appear on Bills face, but it was quickly contorted when the kitty walked pass the food bowls, paying absolutely zero mind to those. We both watched in confusion as he went over by the tall window giving us a beautiful view of the afternoon city, both of us observed the sky for a couple of minutes, then we looked back down at the kitten who was now cozily sleeping by the window. "You know what I'm thinking of?" Bill says turning to me "yes!" I smiled widely, "you say it!" as I turned to him with a grin like one of a Cheshire cat. "His name should be Sky!" Bill says going over to the cat, I was expecting cloudy, woody or something, but no Sky..it sounded even better than the names we had given earlier! I ran over to the cat, sitting beside Bill as I watched him cradle the kitten. "Sky..how..how does that sound schatzi?" Bill says with an awfully cute and warm style on his face, "okay I guess he didn't like both of his names" I said chuckling followed by bills laugh.
"Heh, he really did pick his own name" I embraced both Bill and our new kitten by the name of Sky.
