"i just don't understand why yall thought it was okay to leave my house and it's a mess like this. i work hard daily and come to this." yvette said. "bro you never even hurr! all you do IS work! please miss me wit dat bullshit." jameir said to his mother. he was starting to get heated and his accent came harder. they had been arguing since he came back home. one reason was because he didn't know why she was there. their mother wasn't really apart of either of their lives. she was either at work or just not in their state.
"jameir please don't piss me off, even with me not being here i make sure yall set. i expect yall to keep my house organized even with me not here. and where even is k'maya? you just let your sister leave and not be here when my house look like this like what are you doing." she said making him even more mad. "first off don't ask me what i'm doin when i been takin care of myself n my li sista since she been hurr. you don't make sure shit straight but you. all you worried bout is you. that li money you send go to k'maya. i buy my own shit usin my own money and i even buy her shit. so i really ain't tryna hear shit you tryn say." he said going on his phone looking for his sisters contact.
"you are so disrespectful and you expect people to take care of you. you a grown ass man! i gave you responsibilities and you can't even do this right!" yvette said starting to get loud. jameir didn't even say nothing he just started calling k'maya. she picked up. "yea brother?" she said still kinda sleep. "bruh come getcho momma she finna piss me off." he said in the phone while their mother was in the background. "yeah get yo ass here, left my house like this and hurry up!" she yelled so k'maya could hear her. "girl what?" k'maya said before she hung up the phone. she hopped out the bed waking up mikai.
"what's goin on mama? where you goin?" mikai said lifting up rubbing my eyes. "i knew dat lady was finna be on bullshit. i guess jameir went home today and i saw she got there last night and i guess she yellin at him about the house and she on the phone yellin and shit. i'm just tryn go get meir cause you know how he get." she said putting on one of his jackets and her yeezy slides. "ite hold up im fin come witchu." he said getting fully up and putting on his clothes and grabbing his keys. they walked out the house locking the door and got in the car and sped to the house. the whole way there k'maya was shaking her leg and looking out the window.
mikai grabbed her leg and looked at her as he drove. "calm down mini me. be cool." he said holding her leg as he pulled into the house driveway seeing two cars, jameirs and their moms. he parked and they both got out the car. k'maya walked to the door and walked in the house hearing her mothers loud voice still. "if you would do what you supposed to do you wouldn't have to hear my mouth!" yvette said to jameir. making k'maya scrunch her face as she walked to the noise.
"what's goin on?" she said with her arms crossed. "took you long enough where was you even at. this is yo house not somewhere else. i should not be coming back here to an empty house and it's messy." their mother said looking at k'maya. she watched as mikai walked in. "and who is this, this who you was with? lord god yall just can't do shit right." yvette said making k'maya mad cause what did she mean by that. "if anybody in here can't do shit right it's you. you talm bout a clean empty house bitch i be here by myself half the time! you don't be here! you don't do shit that pertains to this house! you send money that goes straight on bills n shit. anything in my room i or meir bought so i don't even wanna hear shit about dat money." k'maya said mad at this point not even wanting to deal with her mother
"and you shouldn't have shit to say to jameir when he been doin yo whole entire job! all you do is work, work, work. fuck yo kids right? to be honest, it's fuck you. the only reason i wasn't here is cause i knew you was and i didn't wanna deal wit yo bullshit. but since we onnit let's bring all the dark to light!" k'maya said making her momma stare at her with an attitude. "you don't do and haven't did shit for me, this house paid off because of jameir. he made the money to pay it off. did he ever get a thank you for that? fuck no all he ever get is a fuck you. you a selfish ass ungrateful ass bitch who can't realize and understand her own fuckin responsibility! you left us! so as far as i know you're not my momma and im standin onnet." k'maya said so seriously making jameir step in. "you can go now ion even know why you came back here. go back to yo job that's where you wanna be so bad." he said to his momma who was now startstruck.
"yall are unappreciative and since that's how yall feel don't ask me for shit else! yall so muhfuckin grown yall can take care of yall selves. so that "lil" money i send will not be sent no more!" yvette said putting air quotes around lil. "girl get the fuck out. sick of this shit." k'maya said walking to her room, mikai followed her. "all i know is you or her better not call me when yall need me." their mom said walking away. "we ain't need you from the get go." jameir mumbled grabbing the clothes.
he put them in the laundry room and went upstairs to check on his sister. "you good?" he said sitting on the bed. mikai backed up so they could talk. "ion even know why she came here for. like what was her reasoning, just to piss us off? like she ain't been here in years and pop up today with all dat shit like girl." k'maya said rolling her eyes. "she just be trippin you know dat. don't even worry bout ha. we gon be straight." he said hugging his sister.
