"a table fa 2 please." mikai said as k'maya looked around the restaurant. she was looking at people's plates and how they were reacting to the food. she did this at every new restaurant she went to. "follow me this way!" the server said. they both followed to a booth in the corner . "thank you." k'maya said and smiled. "no problem, my name is christyian and i'll be your server today. can i get yall started with something to drink?" she asked them.
k'maya searched the menu looking for her drink. "ou can i get a raspberry lemonade." she said smiling. "of course. and for you?" she asked mikai. he shrugged and said "i'll take apple juice." the server wrote down their drinks. "i'll be right back with those drinks for you guys." she said walking away. "you likin it so far?" mikai asked k'maya who was still smiling. "it's nice, you lucky food my soft spot." she said pulling out her phone. she took a picture of the menus and put it on her story. "ye let dem li niggas know, matta fact take anotha one." he said posing with the menu. she snapped a picture and laughed.
"you are not funny." she said still laughing. "clearly i am you laughin ainnit?" he said making her laugh stop. "okay don't do too much." she said making him laugh. "now im doin too much." he said putting his hands up to surrender. the server came back over as they were talking. "here are those drinks, do you guys know what you want to order yet?" she asked and they nodded. "lemme get a cajun omelet and steak platter." mikai said quickly ordering. "i want the chicken and waffles please." k'maya said and the server nodded. "all right i'll be right back with your food. let me get these menus out your way." she said grabbing the menus and walking away.
"chicken and waffles? fareal." mikai said cause he was expecting her to go all out. "that's all i feel like my stomach can handle really." she said drinking her lemonade. "oh yea i forgot. you need ta not drink if you can't hold it mini me." he said making her face scrunch. "when did you become jameir? and i'm just not a clear drinker. menace always wanna get casamigos like no." she said looking at her phone notifications go off. "dang we blowin up ainnit, them niggas gotta be mad." mikai said referring to the people who followed k'maya.
"you always expectin niggas ta be worried bout me." she said drinking again. "look atchu, i know dey worried boutchu. you bad." he said making her smile. that was one of her favorite things about mikai he always complimented her. no matter if she felt ugly and her hair not done. "thank you." she said grinning from ear to ear. "don't gotta thank me fa sum yo pretty self should already know." he said making her face completely red. "okay stop." she said finna break her jaws. the server started walking over with their food. k'maya danced in her seat a little. "thank you." she said as the server walked away.
she topped her chicken and waffles to her liking as mikai did the same to his omelet and steak. she took her knife, cut it, and took her first bite. she didn't even need to dance her taste buds danced for her. her waffles were so fluffy and good. she moaned as she ate. "girl it is not dat good." mikai said laughing. "it isss tho, omg this waffle." she said chewing her food. "you want some of dis?" mikai asked holding up his omelet. she nodded. he put the fork to her mouth. again she was amazed by the taste.
"omg girl, i'm glad dis place not on doordash." mikai said laughing at her. "that's ok cause you gon bring me whenever i want." she said making mikai raise his eyebrow. "tuh" he expressed eating. "i hope yo face get stuck like that." she said eating her chicken. "i HoPe Yo FaCe GeT sTuCk LiKe ThAt. lookin ahh." he said mocking her. she rolled her eyes. "you so bipolar, how you go from so nice to so mean." she said pouting. "i'm just playing mini me." he said eating. "hold on i'll be right back." she watched him get up and walk from the table to the front counter. she ate some more waffles as she was getting full. she drank some of her lemonade and took a little bit more of mikai omelet.
he walked back and sat down. "im full kai." she said yawning. "girl you cannot be tired you just woke up." he said grabbing her plate and taking some of her waffles. "this food it gave me the itis." she said laughing and scrolling on tiktok. "well you need to make room for one more." he said rubbing his hands together. "im back with your bill some boxes and also a little treat." their server said sitting a plate down. k'maya looked at the plate seeing strawberry cheesecake. "omg kai i am not gon be able to eat thisss." she said excited seeing her favorite dessert but upset she was full.
"just one bite mini me." he said waiting for her to take it. she grabbed her fork and closed her eyes and ate it. she moaned as it melted in her mouth. "this is good as fuck." she said looking down at the cheesecake. "i knew you was gon like it." he said smiling and putting stuff in boxes and he handed her a box for her cheesecake. he put all the boxes in the bag and grabbed it. he stood up and grabbed k'maya hand so she could get up. she stood and grabbed her purse. "whew i feel so big." she said laughing. "you ready to go?" he asked and she nodded. he grabbed her hand and the bags then they headed towards the door, he stopped at the counter to pay and they left the restaurant.
"today was a success. you ate dat up." k'maya said giving mikai his props on his date planning. "i know, im just glad its witchu." he said making her smile. "which house?" he asked since she haven't been home yet and they always at each other house. "we can go back to yo house i think my mama nem came back last night n ian even got time." she said rolling her eyes. "she came back from ha work trip dis early?" he said pulling out the parkin lot. "she gon be right back tmr it's nothing new." she said not wanting to talk about her momma. mikai noticed and he just let the music play as k'maya texted semaj about the date.
