On Friday night Jason Street had an accident on the football field during the game. Now it was Sunday and everybody was at church praying about Jason.

"It is a blessing to be in the house of the Lord amongst believers." The Pastor prayed for all.

"Amen," Isabella whispered as she looked around the church.

"We do know that on Friday night, one of our brothers, brother Jason, was injured in the football game. The doctors are saying that possible he could be paralyzed. But we know of a doctor who's greater than any doctor." Pastor said.

"Yes, yes." Everybody cheered making Isabella flinch the loudest.

"I have prayed with Mitchell and Joanne Street. And as an entire community, we have come together in prayer and hope. And faith. And with these prayers, this faith, this hope, I believe Jason Street will once again walk in on his own two feet and join this congregation and rejoice with us." The pastor spoke to the crowd, praying to god.

Once church was done everybody went outside. Lyla pulled Isabella aside with a group of girls who looked at her judging.

"And we know he's gonna be fine. He's gonna walk again." Lyla declared to them. Isabella felt bad for her Truly.

The family all sat in the living Isabella lying in Julie's lap while watching her mom move around quickly.

"Okay, y'all, I'm outta here." Mom signed as she gathered her stuff.

"Were telling you, you shouldn't go to this book club, Mom. They're just gonna turn you into a pod." Julie said looking at her mom.
