Senior year

This is absolutely disgusting. But I'm hungry. So I continue to eat the schools food. Spaghetti was actually one of the meals I enjoy. If I make it myself. Not if it is thrown together carelessly but a bunch of old hags with giant moles on their faces.

Let's just say that the lunch ladies and I don't get along well.

"Are you going to just stab that perfectly good spaghetti or can I take it off your hands?" Nick was so strange. He actually liked this meal. No, liked would be a understatement. He could eat every last noodle in this cafeteria if he wanted too. And not to mention he wouldn't even gain a pound and his 6 pack says it too. Basically he doesn't gain weight, it's impossible for him. And me if I may add. It's weird and I don't like it. It makes me look like I'm too skinny. Olivia and Nick always assures me that I'm a perfect weight. Nick even adds a sexual comment after usually.

Nick is always hitting on me. Ever since the day in the girl's bathroom when dickhead broke my 14 year old heart. Nick is the best and only guy friend I have. He makes me feel beautiful and even though it sounds cheesy, he's like a big brother to me. Once when we went to a party our sophomore year, this guy started hitting on me. He told me, and I quote, "You gotta fine ass, why don't you bring it over to me and we can go upstairs and do wh-" then he got punched.

Hard.

That's all he could say before Nick decided to punch him in the jaw. The guy took one look at Nick and ran away. Nick decided violence was always the best solution when horn dogs were hitting on me. He says it's the only way to make them listen. And it usually works too. He's quite scary when he's acting all tough for Olivia and I.

"Go ahead bud." I pushed my tray towards him so he could finish my spaghetti off.

"You know Abs," he said with a mouth full of disgustingness, " if you're not going to eat school lunches then why don't you just pack or something?"

"Wow Nicky, I never thought of that!" I responded sarcastically. "I mean, I could make my self a lunch that could  as a meal from a 5 star restaurant with all the time I have in the morning!"

"Okay, okay no need to be rude. I'm just simply stating that if you would get your lazy ass up in the morning instead of sleeping in, then maybe, maybe, you could have that 5 star meal." That's when I bursted into a fit of laughter. Me? Wake up early? Hell no. No chance in hell.

Just then Olivia comes running in the cafeteria doors. Her heels clicking on the floor beneath her and she had this excited expression on her face. Great. Just great. This means that I won't enjoy what ever she is about to say.

Just because Olivia and I are best friends doesn't mean that we have the same opinions about things. Other than fashion of course. Basically we are the same person when it came to clothes. Except for high heels. Those are just Satan's creation. Anyway, we were both small, so we fit in the same clothes.

Our ways of entertainment were totally different. She enjoyed applying pounds makeup when I only put on a normal amount and I'm satisfied. She enjoys elegant balls and Leah Sophia gatherings while I enjoyed parties with loud music and red solo cups. She enjoyed going to school games and making poster saying "GO GRIZZLIES" with the colors burgundy and black everywhere. And glitter. Lots and lots of glitter. *cringe*

"You guys! I'm so excited!" She sat down at our table while lightly pounding her hands on the table and stomping her heels. "Are you going? Please tell me you're going!" I knew exactly what she was talking about and no, I was not going.

"Liv, you know she's not going, we're studying for the giant chemistry test we have Monday. All of us. Remember?" Nick dragged out the 'remember' so she would understand that we had planned this giant study night tonight. Chem is hard okay?

"Nope. I'm bailing. I'm sorry but there is no way I'm missing out on the game tonight. No way in hell." She said confidently.

"Come on Liv, we planned this like 2 weeks ago. You can't bail." I said.

"This is going to be the biggest game in high school history and you know it! I thought you'd be the first one to bail since Cade is probably going to get his ass beat by Logan tonight." Tonight is when our school's football team, Grand View High, face Oakland High, our sworn enemies. Cade, the captain of the football team, and Logan, captain of their football team basically would love to see each other dead. But being that's illegal, they've settled on beating each others asses on the football field.

Oh yes I'd love to see it.

But I'd also love to pass my Chem test Monday.

"Liv, you know I would go but I have to study. We all do." Disappointed, she looked down at her feet.

Nick, being the one that always cheers both of us up, he starts to make her feel better. "Come on Olivia, we have to stud-"

"WAIT. What if we make it Saturday night!" Olivia interpreted Nick. Poor Nicky.

Then realization hit me. Of course! That would work out perfectly! I looked up at Nick and gave him a hopeful look. And it worked.

"Fine, but no posters tonight." That's all it took to make Liv and I squeal in excitement.
