"Come and try to hit the cans if you can!" Everyone shouted, trying to get as many customers as possible.
"Miss," Inui asked the girl in front of him, "Care to taste my special blend?"
"N-No thanks," the girl stuttered and slowly walked away.
"Inui," Fuji said, "You're scaring away all the customers."
"Hm," he moaned.
Fuji laughed lightly and turned around to see how their booth was going. A few first year girls tried to scoop some goldfishes up.
"Ah, Tezuka," he called when he saw Tezuka standing around the corner with crossed arms.
"What is it?" he asked, cold as always.
"How's your booth going?"
"Fine."
He glanced at his booth to make sure Momoshiro and Kaidoh didn't destroy everything, but it seems like there was peace... for the time being.
"Come and see if you can hit the middle of the circle!" Momo shouted.
"Excuse me?"
He looked to the side and noticed a girl with long black hair standing with a soft smile. Her turkish green eyes bore right into his, as if she could make him do anything she told him to. But at the same time, he thought, that they seemed to be in pain.
"Can I try?" the girl asked.
"S-Sure," he stuttered.
He gave her a tennis racquet, and immediately noticed that her hands were in bandages. Though, he tried to ignore it and passed her three balls.
"I'll only need one," she said and took a ball.
"Are you sur-"
Before he had a chance to finish his sentence, the girl threw up the ball and hit it perfect in the middle of the circle. Everyone's attention focused on the girl who was spinning the racquet, like some kind of cowboy spinning his gun.
"She's good," Inui said with his drink in his hand. "I got some great data there."
"I think it's a bit angry, Inui-senpai," Kaidoh said while pointing at the drink, which began to bubble more.
"Thank you," the girl smiled and gave the racquet back to Momo. "It was fun."
She began to walk away with her hands in her pockets.
"Wait!" Tezuka called.
The girl stopped in her tracks and glanced back over her shoulder.
"You're not from around here, are you?" he asked.
"Nope," she answered, "I just went sightseeing when I saw a crowd, so I decided to see what was going on. Who should have known that a culture festival was being held?"
"Which school are you from?"
"Wow, you sure ask a lot of questions to someone you don't even know," the girl commented, "Well, to answer your question, I'm just here to visit some family, so I come from a school in a completely different district."
"One last question."
"I'm waiting."
"Just who are you?"
Everyone looked eager to know what she was going to say, but she just smiled and started to continue walking.
"Just call me Shin," she said and waved. Before they knew it, she disappeared into the crowd.
"Shin, huh?" Tezuka mumbled to himself.
"Why are you so interested in her, Tezuka?" Fuji asked while smirking.
"She reminds me of someone."
"She does?"
Fuji opened his eyes slightly when he noticed the way Tezuka still stared into the crowd. His smile widen even further. Tezuka looked at him with a raised eyebrow.
"Why are you smiling?"
"No particular reason," he said and walked back to his booth. Noticing something, he stopped walking. "Um, Inui-"
"Yes?" Inui asked.
"I think you should do something to that drink before it... explodes."
Inui glanced back at his drink that started to wobble and more bubbles appeared like a failed laboratory experiment that would go crazy and take over the world.
"Everyone," Momo begun, "I think it's a good idea if we-"
The drink started to beam a strong light and in a blink of an eye, it... you can probably guess what happened. And if you can't, then let us just say that it wasn't pretty.
