I'm so sorry for the slow update, but I've been so busy! Anyway, here's the 9th chapter and I hope you like it :)

Shin looked at the white ceiling. Even though it was past midnight, she didn't feel the least tired.

"Giovanni Lacosta" she said to herself. "So he's still around, huh?"

She sat up and looked at her desk. A piece of paper laid on it, ready to be written on. Right beside it laid a little envelope with the letters "reassignment" on. Her eyes kept looking at it. At the end she stood up; curled the envelope up and in the trash can it was. She dusted her hands, looking at the paper ball.

"What am I doing?" she asked herself. "What am I going to do?"

A sigh left her mouth. Her Turkish green eyes looked outside. The sky was clear showing the stars that lit up, as it was still day. Then, the first moment she was inside and the next she was out. She didn't know where she should go, but it was like faith already decided. The road was silent and the sound of critters was loud and clear. It kind of bugged her. Suddenly she could hear something. It wasn't critters, but the sound of a ball hitting a wall. The sound became clearer and clearer, the further she came. Just a few meters away stood a guy swinging his racquet, which hit the ball with great precision. Her eyes followed the ball, and she noticed the ball hit the exact spot over and over again.

'Who is that guy?' she asked herself a walked a bit closer.

The street lights were turned on, but not strong enough to show the persons face. Suddenly a very low noise came from her feet.

'Seriously? I stepped on rocks? What is this? A movie?'

"Who's there?" the voice asked.

'That voice...' she thought surprised and looked up.

"Captain?!"

Tezuka gave her a serious look, but looked away and picked up the ball.

"What are you doing here?" he asked.

"I should ask you the same thing" she replied. "It's past midnight. Shouldn't you be home resting, instead of training?"

"I couldn't sleep" he answered discreet. "You?"

"Me? I guess it's the same, but I'm used to sleep late, so it's no problem for me."

He didn't say anything. He just looked at the ball with relaxed eyes. Not as serious as before.

"Shin" he said and she looked at her. "There's something I've been wondering..."

"Yeah?" she asked with a smile.

"Why did you let me win?"

"Huh?"

He walked closer to her.

"Why did you let me win at our match?"

"Oh, you mean our first?"

He nodded. She putted her bandaged hands in her pockets, and looked into the sky.

"I told you already. It was because it wasn't fun anymor-"

"Don't lie."

She stopped and looked back at him. His face had becomes serious again.

"You hated that I called you by your family name, and I know you would have done everything to stop me for doing it. Not only that, you refused to be in the club in the first place. You wouldn't just give up like that."

"Wow, that's sure a detailed explanation, for someone you've barely even talked to" she said with a straight face.

"Just answer the question."
