A traumatizing Past

The 15th chapter is finally out, and I hope you like it :) I'm participating for the PoT Watty Awards, and try and check the other entries out, they're really good :)

The dark forest didn't end no matter for how long she ran. For some reason it just became darker and darker for each step she took. She could hear someone running behind her, but it was faint, though it still bugged her. Who would run after her? Echizen? No, it wasn't him. It just couldn't be. The oxygen almost ran out from her lungs, making her wheezing after it. The person behind her came closer up, and after a few seconds a hand grabbed her shoulder.

"Shinrai!" a voice scolded. Tezuka's voice. 

But she replied by slapping his hand away. Though, she didn't yell back at him, but just stood with her face hidden under her cap, breathing heavy.

"Why do you use that name?" she asked. "It's a lot easier just to use Shin."

"Because your name is Shinrai."

"So? Do you think you that special, that you can call me that?"

He didn't answer.

"Guess you still uptight as always, huh?" she laughed but it was obvious she was sad. "And as always, it's still a pain."

"Stop acting everything's okay, when it's not" he scolded quietly.

"Who's said I was acting like it? Of course I know, nothing is okay."

"Then tell me. What did that guy mean about you being a monster?"

"What more is there to tell? He told you everything. I was the only survivor in a fire and I almost killed 10 people. And because of what?"

He kept quiet once again, 'cause what could he say?

"Don't worry. I will not do it against you guys, if that was what you thought. But if you mock me, who knows if I'm gonna, change my mind."

She started to turn around, beginning to walk away.

"Shinrai Tanaka" he suddenly said.

A hand grabbed his shirt and a fist threatened to hit him.

"I told once!! Don't call me that!!!!!" she scolded furious.

"Tell me why!"

"Why can't you mind you own business??!!!!"

"Because I can see you troubled."

Her eyes widened slowly up, as the line out from his mouth. It sounded so familiar. It didn't come from another person, but sounded like something she would had said. Before they all betrayed her. Tears came streaming down from her green eyes, as she landed on her knees. Still no sound came from her.

"What happened to me? Why am like this?" she asked with wide eyes, but with a confused smile.

Tezuka bended down and held her small shoulders.

"Please tell me, what happened to you" he said with a worried voice.

Shin looked up at him, but closed them again.

"If you really want to know that much...I suppose I don't have much of any other choice...do I...?"
