When you love someone as much as I did, you lose a part of you with them.

When I was in the hospital people looked at me normaly like I wasn’t some freak with plastic legs. When I went to the store for the first time since the accident a little girl and her mother just looked at me, it's a small town and things get around but I don’t think it was anything good but some rumors. Some of my favortie one are, I heard she wasn’t even human, I heard her and Mitchel were in a colt so they had to kill 2 people in order to get in. But I think they were just looking at me because I had a razor and shaving cream in my hand. The little girl asked do you really need to shave if you don’t have legs, but I just ignored them and smiled. Checking out was the same, honey you don’t need this, honey do you need help walking out, honey, honey. Maybe that sould be my new name Honey, again I smiled and left. Driving home was hard so I took the back roads to avoid people’s cars, I got a new car that is fit for my needs. When looking for at  my driveway it was empty, my dad had a night shift and my siblings were probably sleeping, so I decided to go see Mitchel.
I drove through the cemetery to his family's yard. I walked over to his stone, it was beautiful, Mitchel James Frank beloved Son, Grandson, and Freind to all. Born May 16, 2006- August 25, 2023. I trast my finger of his name. Missing his voice, his laugh and that look he gave me when we  kissed. His stone was blue and gray, his favortite colors, at the top of it, it had his glove and basketball jersey. Dozens of flowers were placed around his stone, some of them I noticed, the tags said from Coach, from Mom, from Caren, and lots more, a lot from people who didn’t even talk to him, people who were jealous of Mitchel.
