//Flashback//

POV: Glen
1 year ago (age: 15)

I pushed open the large, polished, wooden door. The room was large and furnished luxuriously.

"You must be Glen."

"I am."

The chairman of Westerville Academy leaned forward on his seat. His hands were folded on his large desk and he eyed me from the feet up.

"I took notice in you in the welcoming ceremony. Your quick actions and skills to stop the fight between the groups of students was quite impressive."

I didn't answer him. I don't wish to be involve any further with this conversation.

"I want you to replace the current student council president," he said suddenly.

"I don't really care to do that."

"Yes, I know. But, you have a extraordinary skill of deduction, knowledge, and well I could say...strength."

"What if I say no?"

"Then, I'll just have to let out the information to the media of why your family moved across the country to Westerville City."

He knows?

"What?" I said.

"The reason why your family moved here... it's your fault. Isn't it?"

"Shut up. How do you know about that?"

"Nuh-uh-uh. Don't use that tone with me. I could easily kick you out this school."

I glared angrily at him. My nails dug deeper in my palm.

"Your mother and I are very close friends. Well, at least, she thinks so."

Mom told this guy? The chairman chuckled. I wanted to smash his idiotic grinning face to his desk.

"What do you want me to do?" I said holding in my anger.

"It's just as I told you. Become the student body president and keep this school in order from the inside."

"You won't tell anybody if I do just that?"

He smiled at me.

"I absolutely promise that I won't tell a single soul that you shot a public official right in the head."
