POV: Glen

Class had ended. Well, actually, all six classes ended. And no one bothered to wake up Riley. I sat in my seat until the classroom was emptied out completely. The teacher looked at me and then at Riley.

"Deal with him, Glen," she said and left.

I was just going to do that anyways. I stood up, grabbed my backpack, and walked to the back of the class. Riley was resting his head in his arms on the desk. He looked pretty comfortable, but it was irresponsible of him to sleep on his first day in class. Why can't I just I leave him like everyone else?

"Riley, wake up," I said anyways.

He mumbled something and his head tilted a little.

"Mommy..."

I stared at him silently wondering what type of dream he was having. Was he homesick or something? It's just the first day. Suddenly, a tear streaked down his face.

"Riley-" I said.

"Don't go, Mommy...stay with m...",

"Wake up, Riley. You're having a bad dream."

His shoulders started trembling. I shook his arms. Riley's eyes opened. I retracted my arms back quickly. He yawned.

"Oh, it's you. Glen...was it?" he said tiredly.

He doesn't seem to recall that he had a nightmare. I'll just leave it at that.

"Yeah."

He sat up and looked around confused.

"The class is... over?"

"School for today is over, idiot," I said.

"R-really!?" Riley said standing up and grinning.

He really is an idiot.

"Are you staying in the dormitory?" I said changing the subject.

"Y-yes!"

"You have to find out your room number from the dorm head. Do you know your way there?"

He laughed, "I'll be able to find it."

I looked at my watch and then back at him.

"I'll take you there. Usually there's a tour for all the students in the first day of school, but you didn't get that treatment.""

"You don't have to, Glen. I have nothing to do anyways."

"I said I'll take you there."

We walked toward the dormitory. It was across the other side of the school. Every now and then, I glance down at my watch. I have to go to Student Council in fifteen minutes, but that's enough to spare. Riley shouldn't have switched into this school since he's not even an elite. It'll just be hard for him.

And I really don't want it to be.
