"I bet that stupid raccoon didn't have to climb a mountain." Natasha huffed trying to catch her breath. "Nat you can't just call him stupid it's not nice. Is he even a raccoon?" Wanda questioned furrowing her brow. "I don't care, he eats garbage."

"He still has feelings so less of the insults please." Wanda lightly scolded natasha. The two heard a sound behind them and got into their fighting stances with wanda slightly in front of natasha.

"I assure you, you have nothing to
fear from me." A hooded figure stands in front of them, "okay that's just creepy." Nat said shuddering a little.
"Welcome Natasha, daughter of Ivan.
Wanda, daughter of oleg."

"that's even creepier." she replied, stepping closer to wanda instinctively. "who are you?" She asked a little more timidly than she would like to have said it. "Consider me a guide. To you, and to all who seek the Soul Stone."

Nat: "Great. You just show us where it is, and we’ll be on our way." I give a fake smile, the figure removes his hood and I can't help but seem a little shocked at his appearance. Red skull speaks again. "Oh, liebchen. If only it were that easy... What you seek lies in front of you. As does what you fear." he says pointing down to the bottom of the cliffs, the reality hits me and I feel sick. "The Stone is down there?"

Redskull: "For one of you. For the other...The Stone demands a sacrifice. In order to take it, you must leave
behind that which you love. A soul for a soul."

Natasha: my heart sinks, wanda pulls me towards her and whispers in my ear. "Maybe he’s lying, how do you know we can trust anything he says?"

"he knew our father's names. I didn’t even know his name. Thanos left here with the stone, and without his daughter. You really think that’s a coincidence? We promised everyone we'd come back with that stone." I sigh, "Whatever it takes..." Tears fill Wanda's eyes as she whispers back to me. "Whatever it takes..." I sigh, trying to appear calm. "If we don’t get the stone, billions of people are going to stay dead. I have to do this... For bucky."

Wanda: "No detka, I can't let another person I love die, I can see my parents again and you will see Clint, his family and y/n and yelena. You can see bucky again and you can keep the kittens, I'm sure y/n will agree."

Natasha: "No, I had my time with them, you have another little who needs you. We can't get another you." I looked down as the tears fell off her face. "Baby girl, look at me." Wanda said quietly as she lifted my chin. "It's okay, you will be okay. I promise you, no matter what I will always be there to keep you safe. And I will always love you."

"I love you too, and I'm sorry but I can't let you do this." Nat shot Wanda with her widow bite and took a run to the edge and jumped....

She was soon pulled back by a red glow, landing safely on the cliff with the magic still holding her back.

The forcefields that once kept her feeling safe and secure as she laid in wanda's arms now held her from them and trapped her as she screamed and fought to get out.

The ones that kept her feeling safe after her nightmares of wanda being taken from her were now fighting her to make that very nightmare become a reality.

When she saw Wanda stepping back she gave up trying to fight as she realised what was happening, she knew there was nothing she could do to get out of it. "Wands... please."

"I love you baby girl. Thank you for choosing me to be your mommy."

Wanda smiled, before jumping off the cliff, her eyes closed shut as she thought of her babygirl, she wished it didn't have to be this way but she all she ever wanted was for Natasha to be safe.

Even if it wasn't with her.
