Matt POV-

"What!?" I looked at the man in front of me as he walked away without letting me complete my words.

I peeked at the brown envelope sitting on the table. I picked it up to reveal a paper neatly folded.

I opened paper to see the inked letters.

Divorce Papers written in bold letters.

She's divorcing me?

It was Indeed true.

I deserved it.

I read the whole paper till I reached the end. There was a blank line under my name whereas her's had a sign.

I lost it, I lost her.

I ran towards my car driving to her house.

Olivia POV-

I was having my morning tea, as I watched at the clock ticking.

He must have gotten the papers by now.

I was interrupted by a ring sound later recognized as my door bell.

I peeked through the peekhole to see Matt. I took a deep breath to face everything as I opened the door.

"Why Olivia? " The first question he asked me.

"I wanted to. "

"I love you. "

"Ahan no, you lost it. My love. "

"Please give me a chance." He said trying to get close.

"Don't you dare. " I spit making his face shrink.

"Now sign those and get away from my life. "

"Why, huh? Why should I when I did nothing wrong? That day Elisha forced me to sleep with her, she blackmailed me. She had a photo of us together naked. Are you really divorcing me on that basis or are you in love with that Jason, and you both are plann-"

Slap....

His face turned towards the left as soon as my palm touched his cheek.

"I never knew you could steep so low that you are applying your deeds on my name. Shame on you Matt, SHAME ON YOU. "

"Now get the hell out of my house and never show me your face. "

As soon as I said that he turned his heels and left the place.

I recieved the divorce papers on the next day.

With a letter that read.

I signed those papers, as you asked for. I am really sorry that I said those words to you. I really didn't mean those words. It just came out in anger. I am really sorry. I really don't deserve you. Atleast not after saying those words to you.

I hope a great life to to you ahead.

I am sorry for even being in your life for once.

I am sorry for cheating on you, insulting you in every way possible. I am sorry for even coming to your life for once.

I love you, I am sorry that I couldn't say that to you before when I had time.

But I love you and always do, Olivia.

For a moment I wanted to reverse the back and go back to him but as soon as the reality hit me, I thought it was better to leave him.

And leaving him was the best thing I could do to myself.

Now I am looking forward to more challenges that life has for me.
