Anything Can Happen

Chapter 6

Why the Fuck am I waking up thinking about fisher? Why is it that I'm thinking about his smile, and the way his brown hair has a hint of a golden glow to it whenever the sun hits it, or his gorgeous tan skin. This was not apart of the plan. On the bright side Gemma has been wanting me to get with fisher since middle school but I just never saw him that way, and I can't believe I'm seeing him in any way other than dorky fisher who is my cousins other best friend.
As I'm awaking I hear my door creek and incomes Gemma, she is wearing a tube top with a swimsuit underneath and some denim shorts, she has heart shaped sunglasses on and is also wearing flip flops
"So you went night fishing?" She exclaims
"Um yeah" I say back
"So did you kiss him?" She asks
"Um no, I didn't"
"Oh, I just assumed since every time  you're near someone who finds you attractive you kiss them?" She says back
"Yeah, well fisher is fisher, and I'm moving across the country in two & a half months so I'm not really looking to start something" I say
"Okay well tell him that, he called me this morning all fucking goo goo over you" she said back
"Are you jealous? I say
Then Gemma's face just scrunched up
"No" she said back
"What are we doing today?" I say to her
"I don't know, why do you ask?"
"Because, today we are going to get you a summer romance if it's the last thing we do"
"YAS! What are you thinking?" She says
"Why don't we go to sycamore valley, lay out in our lawn chairs, bring a cooler full of snacks and just have fun, and scope out cute boys" I say to her
"That sounds perfect! And you can invite your friends and I'll invite mine"
"I don't think my friends would be too interested in hanging out with your friends, no offense like I know Carly wouldn't care to tag along, maybe we should just keep it the three of us?" I say back
"Why wouldn't they want to be around my friends, they are the coolest girls in school" she says back
"Um, we're the coolest girls in school.... You guys graduated"
"Oh yeah, well still they are still super amazing girls" Gemma says back
"I bet they are; but they just aren't like ....the kind of people they usually hang out with" I say nervously
"Whatever I'll bring emerald and you bring Carly, get your stuff together and I'll meet you there" Gemma says
"You don't want to ride together? I say"
Then without even answering me Gemma just stormed out of the room

Charmaine : hey, do you wanna go to sycamore with me and Gemma?
Carly : um sure but I have the boys with me, can they come?
Charmaine : if they are interested sure!
Carly : alright we will be ready by noon if you want to come swoop us
Charmaine : I'm sure I can do that. See you then!

I'm pulling up to Carly's house and I honk my horn slightly, before I know it they all start exiting her front door and are walking towards my car, I see Theo wearing a black short sleeve shirt, unbuttoned with some plain swim trunks and I can feel my heart beating faster in my chest, his ray bans are covering his gorgeous eyes and Joaquin and Orion look okay also I guess
"Shotgun" I hear Theo say
Great he is going to sit next to me
"Whatever loser" Carly says with a smile
Her blue hair was put into space buns and she had them held up with black chop sticks, she was also in a black bikini that had little mushrooms on it.
"Pop the trunk" Orion says
I then proceeded to pop the trunk and they unloaded their stuff into it and then piled into my car
"Thanks for inviting us to creek day" Theo said to me
"It's no problem" i say back and smile
"So since I'm in shotgun, I get to play the music" he says back
"Sure; just don't play anything lame" I say back
"Oh; watch yourself char, I'll let you know I have the best music taste" he says back
"You listen to sad boy shit" Orion exclaimed
"I like sad boy shit" I say back
"Oh yeah, well growing up in Tulsa I got to see a lot of shows" he says with a smirk
"Oh here he goes again" Orion said then laughed
"What?" I say then laugh
"Theo always goes on and on about how cool living in Tulsa was" Joaquin said
"That's because it totally was, the people are cool, there is so much to do, god I miss it so much"
"Why don't you go back?" I say
"It's a secret" Theo said
"I don't like secrets" I say back
I can feel everyone in the back seat just rolling their eyes at this conversation, like what's their deal I wanna know the secret.
"Well maybe when you decide to actually hang out with me and be my friend maybe I'll start telling you secrets" he says back
I then glance over and him and he has the cutest smirk on his face, I felt my cheeks flushing immediately so I just had to look ahead and focus on the road.
"So your cousin is meeting us?" He says softly
"Wait the one that's in love with you?" Orion remarks
"She isn't in love with him" I say back then giggle
"You won't even give me the time of day because of her crush on me" he says back
"Oh that's not why" I say back jokingly
"Really, could've surprised me" Theo remarks
