This song for the chapter is really good and kind of reflects the relationship between Clark and Brenda.

I woke up on this Sunday ready to meet Brenda for church. I wasn't too excited because I hadn't been there for a while and I wasn't sure if I would be ready to dedicate my life again.
I wasn't bringing Thomas with me because I wanted to visit the church first by myself. I also wasn't sure if it was one of those types of churches where they sing for three hours and then get no where. Who knows. Brenda was coming to pick me up and based off how she was dressed, I'd know what type of church we were going to.
I spritzed some cologne on and opened the front door for our housekeeper to come in and watch Thomas for some time. I said thanks, kissed him, and left out the house when Brenda arrived.
She was in a nice sports car and once I got in, I wanted to touch her. Everywhere.
She wore a nice dark blue dress that made her curvy from the top to the bottom and ended mid-thigh. Her hair was in a bun at the top and I noticed that she had a tattoo on her shoulder. It was hot and was cursive with someone's name on it.
"Well hello to you too." she smiled. I grabbed her face and kissed her hard, barely containing myself. She pulled back and I smiled. "Please cut your beard."
Though we weren't together whatsoever, she was the one for me. I also noticed a cartilage piercing that she didn't have previously. When did she grow up and become more of a woman?
"What?" she said. I was in a trance by her beauty and smiled.
"What's the tattoo name?" I asked. She began to drive where we were going.
"It says Antoinette."
"Who's that?"
"Remember when I told you my fake as heck father screwed my aunt-supposed mother? And she ended up pregnant?"
"I don't remember, were we together?"
"I can't remember either. Well, that's the name of my younger sister. Even though I won't see her anytime soon, her name will never leave my mind." she sighed.
"And the cartilage piercing?"
"Last year, Omar had thought it looked sexy. Kind of regret it but its here now." she said.
"You're so beautiful."
"Thank you Mister Gonzales."
"So how does it feel to know a celebrity like me?"
"Well you weren't a celebrity in high school so its basically the same. I mean now you have a son and money so I guess that's cool." she shrugged.
"Umm, what church are we heading to?"
"It's one that I previously went to but I didn't have time to visit anymore because I was with Omar all the-"
"Enough about Omar, he's fucking irrelevant."
"Hey no swearing on the Lord's day. At least wait until after church." she mumbled.
"I'm sorry, but hearing his backstabbing cheating name makes me upset that he fucked you over."
"Clark!"
"Sorry. I mean screwed." I said. "Baby-"
"I'm not your baby Clark. We're not technically a 'thing'. We're just two young adults who enjoy eachother's company."
