Don't forget that English isn't my first language, so if you notice any mistakes, don't hesitate!
Don't hesitate to leave a comment!
"Please. Don't talk nonsense. You didn't even know how you felt two minutes ago." I roll my eyes as I slip on Rayleigh's long white jacket.
"What I'm feeling is exactly like what you described. Didn't you ever feel anything when we were together? Or when we slept together? Or even just now in the bedroom? I'm in love with you. Does that mean I have to ask you to marry me? I don't even have a ring!
— Keep your stupid voice down!" I yell at him as I hit him. A bump grows on the top of his head. I grab him by the collar and shake him back and forth. "Will you shut up! I want to go home as soon as possible. If you talk that much, she'll kill me before I get off the island!
— You're going to kill my fiancé!" Hancock shouts.
[...]
"Your legs won't protect you for long." Says Hancock.
I narrowly dodge an arrow sent by a blonde Amazon at the other end of the battle ring.
"You said you were taking me to the harbour!" I shout at her. "And that you'd give me back my stuff!
— You'll only get your stuff back the day you leave Amazon Lily."
She smiles, sitting high up in the bleachers of the village arena. A large arena with three levels where fights between Amazons are often organised. The stronger an Amazon is, the more beautiful she is considered to be.
"You ate a Devil fruit, so use it!" She replies.
The day after the boy in the straw hat and Rayleigh left, Hancock promised to give me a boat back to Dress Rosa but that bitchy brunette never keeps her promises. As I followed her, thinking I was going as far as the island port, she locked me in this battle ring where twenty or so armed Amazons were waiting with arrows pointed at me.
I pushed off the ground, throwing myself backwards with my legs, doing a flip to dodge another arrow fired at me.
"Having fun with your acrobatics, huh." Hancock laughed. "Your legs allow you to dodge and fly as you please."
I turn to her, looking up at her, eyebrows furrowed.
"Have fun while they're normal arrows."
I grit my teeth. "What are you trying to do?!
— My fiancé is training hard and you're going to sit here and do nothing?" She stands up, her face full of rage.
"So what!" I shout back at her. "I'm not part of his crew! I want to go home.
— As soon as you leave Calm Belt, the pirates will come after you. They won't know you're here, so take advantage of that.
— You think I'm going to stay here two years?!" I get angry.
"Do you really think you're going to survive in this world?" She laughs. "Don't make me laugh! The new era has begun. These aren't the same pirates you knew. I'm not even giving you a week on the sea before you get yourself killed. Make yourself forget for a while. The only way for you to stay alive is either to stay here until you die or to embark with a crew capable of protecting you and taking you as far as DressRosa.
— And what exactly do you want from me?" I ask, looking at her determinedly.
A woman stands in front of me and nocks an arrow before drawing the bowstring. She raises the bow. The metal tip of the arrow points in my direction. The woman releases the arrow and it passes right through me.
