Chapter Nine

"Who?!" Four and X both shouted.
"Minus." Plus huffed.

"Your brother? Why?"
"I didn't appreciate his act of revenge."
"Wait, he burned Four's house down?!"

Plus swallowed. "Yes. My brother— he is unnecessarily... loud... at times. He'll do some bad shit."

X frowned.

"Sorry," Four said. "Can you not use that kind of language around X? All respect."
Plus blinked. "Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry. I said that aloud."

A large bang came from outside.

"GET DOWN!" Plus yelled, and a weird flaming bullet shot above their heads.

"Hmph. I thought they would be in there." A dark voice said.

5 minutes pass and they are still ducking.

"Oh, thank god. He's gone now."

X was dialing the police.

"Hello, this is the Sanford Police Department. What is your emergency?"
"We've caught sight of a criminal." X was terrified.
"We are at 90 Main St (fake, I am sorry if it does exist). He just shot a bullet through our window."
"We will be there immediately. Any injuries?"
X looked around.
"No, none that I can see."
They hung up.

"The police will be here soon."

Four was nervous.
He puked on the floor.
He wasn't injured, but just mortified.
X tried to calm him down.
"Four, what is your comfort show?"
"..."
"What do you want to be when you grow up?"
"..."
Four took X's phone and got to YouTube.
He searched bfdi.
Four, X and plus all watched together.
Four got less stressed by the minute.

(Yes it does exist even though the characters are in irl, the show just has different characters)

3 weeks later-

The news:
Welcome to Maine Reports.
A week ago, Minus Equationist was caught.
Today, he has been found guilty for Arson, causing him 7 years in jail.
Adding to that, attempted murder, costing him up to 14 years in jail.
We will update when we get new information.

X was at Four's place.
For a sleepover. A first for both.
There were no more beds in the house, and the parents were gone for the night.
X got in bed with four (not sexual bc ew) they spent the rest of the night simply laying with each other. X's head in fours chest and four holding X.
It was true love.
And they knew it.

Oh my god.
Oh my actual god.
That went quickly.
I don't know if this will be the end, but I am expecting it to be. Thank you SO MUCH I could not have done this without your support.
This story was kinda reaching out of my comfort zone, as I usually write scary fanfics.
Also, expect a sequel. Not soon, but expect one bc this was short.
