Chapter Three

Due to the suspension, four had switched homerooms.
They were back at school, as the break was over.
Four walked down the hall. He'd scribbled the class number they had given him on his palm (?).
2103. He repeated in his head.
2103.
Finally he got to the room. A class of maybe twenty sat there, staring at him.

Just staring.

He got to the desk with his name on it and sat down.
That was when he realized who was sitting next to him.
His face flushed red.
It was X.
X certainly noticed, too, and blushed as well.

(End of third period, X's perspective)
Holy... holy...
Oh my gorsh.
We go to the same school?
What?
HOW DID I NOT NOTICE? IM AN IDIOT!

Four stared at me.
"You... doing alright?" He asked.
"N-yea! Yeah, I'm fine!" I stuttered.

Four sighed.
"Here, I'll buy you lunch."
"But it's free—"
"I'll buy you lunch."
He speed walked over to the cafeteria.
I shook my head and followed him.

~They just met, yet they feel as if they'd been friends since when they were young~

(At lunch, Fours perspective)

I walked to the lunch ladies side.
"Two snacks please."
She nodded. "What would you like?"
"Two cookies."
I smiled behind me at X, who had genuine surprise on their face.
After getting the cookies and paying, we walked out to the main section of the cafeteria.
I was grinning too big to see someone's dropped burger.
I slid like it was a slip n' slide.
Everyone was laughing.
That feeling in your gut...
wrenching,
Pulling...
It felt like I was about to throw up.
X yelled my name.
My vision went blurry.
Black dots.
My head hurt like hell.
I was worthless! I couldn't even do one thing without messing up.
I flipped everyone off, and speed walked over to the nurses to get an ice pack, because that cures EVERYTHING... obviously.
Ugh.

(X's perspective)

Poor four... he fell so hard!
I tried to visit him in the nurses office, but the nurse said he REALLY didn't want to see people.
The nurse was shaking.
He really didn't.

That night, I sat crying in my room.
I'd just ruined his life...
At least that's what it felt like.
