(Author note: I just realised somewhere along the line I changed the person I was in so I'll edit it and make it third person throughout)

You slammed the door behind you with a thud and leaned against it, panting heavily. After a few seconds you turned around to lock the door, slowly moving over to the front window and peering outside.

A deep sigh of relief escaped your lips as there was no sign of movement from outside, you must've lost them as you ran away, you were pretty sure they were left in shock more than anything.

The first thought that crossed your mind went a little like this, "FUCKING SHIT I THINK I OVERDID IT!" I mean you did kind of throw a man into a wall hard enough to leave a crater, he was being creepy but you didn't want to damage the poor guy for all you knew he could have several broken bones or worse could be dead. In short you surmised you were sorely fucked if you saw them again, you'd probably be branded as the hulk or some kind of witch. Attention in this place had been the last thing you were looking for, you prayed he was fine and that they'd forget about the whole incident.

Brushing away the negative thoughts you decided sleep was the best option for now, then tomorrow you'll head out to run some errands and explore the area some more. You just seriously hoped you could avoid the group and carry on with a somewhat peaceful life in Santa Carla.

The next day rolled around pretty quickly, somehow you ended up falling asleep straight away even after the eventful night you had. You got out of bed and admired your graceful morning look, the bed hair looking especially good this morning.

Going about your morning routine you had pushed all thoughts of last night aside and instead focused on your small list of things to do today. Work didn't start until late this evening so you had the whole day to do whatever, it would be nice to properly enjoy the boardwalk and have a look around a comic shop you saw a couple nights before.

Before heading out you checked in with Elaine to see if she wanted anything and she gave you a short list of things she needed before trying to offer you some money too, you politely turned the offer down, it was the least you could for her considering she had lowered your rent.

You decided to drive into town today, it would make things easier to bring back home later after all. Parking close to the boardwalk you locked the car then ventured off around the stalls and shops along the streets.

A couple hours had passed and your stomach alerted you it needed sustenance so you decided to find somewhere to eat. You wandered into a small pizza place and was shown to a single booth by the window by a waitress. She came back several minutes later and took your order before disappearing with a kind smile into the kitchen, you turned you head to look out of the window and people watch as you waited for your food.

As you were observing the people of Santa Carla you noticed a boy with blonde hair wondering around, by the looks of his outfit he definitely wasn't from around here either. His eyes glanced at the restaurant you were in and they lit up, he ran off and a few seconds later came back with an older woman and a tall brown haired lad. They walked into the restaurant and were immediately directed to a table opposite you then left to ponder over the menu.

Your food arrived and you dug in, enjoying the warm meal. The family had just finished ordering their own food when you felt eyes on you, looking up you noticed it was the brown haired male of the trio. His eyes widened slightly as you smiled at him and he suddenly looked away, seeming to find the napkins in front of him very interesting. You chuckled to yourself before carrying on with your meal.
