So I'm sure almost every Flower Husbands enthusiast have heard of the story A Poppy By Another Name (APBAN). A very well written story by Vinnie or bumblvee. They joined 2 years ago and has a very popular series with A Poppy By Another Name, Petal's Diary, and Valerina. My personal favorite of their work is A Cup of Coffee To Ease The Pain (which actually made me cry). They write a lot about Empires SMP, 3rd Life, Hermitcraft, DSMP, and Afterlife SMP.

I'm sure all of you have cried or wanted to scream while reading the APBAN series, as Vinnie is very good with bringing out emotions in people with their writing. If you haven't checked out their work, I highly suggest you do, and definitely read A Cup of Coffee To Ease The Pain because that one, in my opinion, is one of her best works. It talks about detective work and keeps you on your toes a lot and is very well written.

So, here's the answers to the questions I asked Vinnie :D

Question 1: How'd you stumble across mcyt and start writing? When I was younger, I really REALLY liked watching Popularmmos and the Crafting Dead series because I thought it was just the coolest thing ever. I also really liked DanTDM because his content was the best. I started watching Grian's old tutorial videos, then stumbled across Hermitcraft when he joined in season 6. I really liked the idea of creating an alternate world where different things happened in place of actual 'canon' events, so I guess that's what got me into writing about it. I've always enjoyed writing either way, it's a way for me to escape from the world for a little while and create my own. So yeah :]

Question 2: Do you ever think of doing something else? Maybe writing original stories or maybe even stepping away from Wattpad and moving on with your life? I'm actually working on an original story right now! It's called The Unexistence and it's about this syndicate of kids who suddenly didn't exist anymore, but that's all I'll tell for now >:]

I might eventually step away from Wattpad and it may very well be a phase of my life that I need to move forward with my life, but for now I'm sure I'll be here for a while. It's already almost been five years anyway lmao.

Question 3: If you're comfortable with it, would you mind telling me a bit about your home life? Do you enjoy time with your family or is it hard? And do they know about your Wattpad life? Ehhh my home life and family aren't too great. My father is rough to deal with especially. He has all these high and unreasonable expectations of who I should be and what I should be capable of, he yells when he can't get what he wants, and he gets drunk pretty often. My brother is easier to be around in most ways, but we have some issues, too. My brother knows that I write books, but he's never read them and doesn't really know what they're about. My father doesn't know and probably never will.

Question 4: Do you share the fact that you're on Wattpad in your life, such as at school, or do you keep it under wraps? I mean, it's not really something I hide necessarily, but I don't really tell anybody unless they ask about my writing because I do rant about my books a lot. My close friends and my partner know about my Wattpad and they'll beta-read my work sometimes

Question 5: Any plans for the future with your writing? Maybe any upcoming stories? I'm in the process of finishing up a few new stories but since I've taken a break from writing, there hasn't been much actual progress. But!! It's coming. There's a lot of new stuff coming soon and I'm really excited for it. Eventually I hope to be able to be published once I finish my original book, but that's looking a little far into the future. For now, I just want to enjoy writing what I'm writing!

Question 6: Are there any big mistakes that you regret in your life or anything you wish you can go back and change? The biggest mistake I've ever made was not dealing with my mental health earlier because it led to a lot of problems in my late years of junior high/early years of high school. I was...a brat, to say the least. I bullied people and always expected to get what I wanted because I had an 'excuse' and I was just overall a terrible person because I hated myself and didn't know how to cope with it. I would definitely want to go back and tell myself to get therapy lol

Question 7: Are you facing any big struggles in your life right now? You don't have to share any specifics if you do not feel comfortable with it. My body image and confidence for sure. Loving myself and taking care of myself is hard, especially when I'm stressed and overworked, which I very much am at the moment. There have been a lot of times recently where I've just wanted to give up and let myself go, but whenever I get like that, I try to remind myself of the things I love doing and that I would never get another chance to do those things when I'm gone. It usually does help, sometimes it doesn't, but I'm still here which is what matters, right? I'll get through it :D

Question 8: How'd you come up with such a good storyline for a story like A Cup of Coffee To Ease The Pain? I've always been into detectives and mystery stories, but I'm not quite sure how I really got to the point of the actual canon plot. Originally, the plot was about Ren and Doc both being against Boatem and Grian and Scar were a couple. I'm not sure what changed or why I, like, rearranged the whole entire plot, but y'know. I did. And it turned out great, I'm really proud of it and I think it's my best book.

Question 9: Are any of the experiences mentioned in your stories experiences that you've faced in your life? Maybe some characters based off of friends or family? Sort of. Scott is based a lot off of my own personality, mentality, and just overall life (which probably sounds worse than it is :'D). I try to match most of the characters to their CC's actual personality, but I use inspiration from my friends to write reactions and relationships.
I'm not quite sure how Grian's and Joel's relationship came about, but I tried to base fWhip's and Jimmy's off of their Empires s1 relationship (the playful bickering, the arguments, etc.) I try to find unique relationship dynamics and pair together people who typically aren't written together or people who don't interact much.

Thanks to Vinnie for answering my questions and again, I highly suggest you check out their work if you haven't yet!

Let me know who you want me to do next! I did actually interview another popular author, but I wanna do someone who has less than 100, or even 50 followers first to get them more attention.

So let me know who you'd like to see! Please do not volunteer yourself or any alt accounts, and if you'd like me to pick an underrated author, I'll do it! I got a little list of authors that are underrated :D
