"Shut up!" Me and West shouted in unison.
Sharife been talking for the past 30 minutes and we have only been on the road for 15 of them.
"I should have drove my own damn car." I said while rolling my eyes.
"Nah he should've drove himself I didn't know he was gone be doin all this." West replied.
"Damn my best friend and my wife done turned against me."
I looked at West then turned around to look at Sharife in the back seat.
"You and West married?" I asked playing dumb founded.
West looked at me with a stale look on his face, "Sevyn, quit playin' with me."
I laughed at West's response and got on my phone. I'm already tired of being in the car with them so I don't know how I'm gonna handle these next two hours.
" Man, I can't believe you let Sevyn sit in the front seat over me." Sharife said as he laid down in the backseat.
West sighed "Bro that's between you and Sevyn."
I smacked my lips "Nigga y'all came and got me last so that's between y'all."
We sat in a comfortable silence for a good 10 minutes before Sharife opened his mouth again.
"Sooo Sevyn-"
I groaned as soon as I heard my name come out of his mouth.
"What Sharife?" I questioned annoyed.
I felt him touching my hair from the backseat "What you mixed with?" He asked, sounding genuinely curious.
"Nothing, I'm just black."
"Wait forreal?" West butted in sounding confused.
I rolled my eyes at his response "Yes forreal."
"Where you grow up at?" Sharife asked again.
"I lived in Tennessee until I was like 11 then me and mom moved to Colorado with my granny when I was 13."
West looked at me before looking at the road again, "Oh so you a granny's baby?"
"Yeah, I was."
Sharife spoke up again "You know what they say about girls raised by they grandmas."
West smacked his lips "Bro that shit is not true."
I sat there confused. "What?"
"Females raised by they grannies got a bad rep he basically asking if you were hoing around." West explained and I immediately got offended.
I turned around to the back seat. "Don't play with me." I scolded while hitting him on the leg.
"Ok damn I'm sorry. So is that a no?" He asked while rubbing his leg.
