Sonic cast reacts to the Sonic 2020 movie

A Road Trip of Introductions

After escaping Dr. Robotnik, Sonic and Tom are riding on the open road in Tom's truck, and leaving Green Hills.

With a determined look, Tom glanced over to the blue hedgehog, ready to interrogate him.

"Alright, pal." Tom began with a serious expression. "You need to start talking, right now! Who are you? What are you?"

"I'm a hedgehog," Sonic responded with an annoyed expression. "I feel like that's obvious. And I'm in big trouble."

"Super obvious if you take the time to take it that you are looking at an alien species." Eggman said.

"Just like when I first entered the human world, nobody knew I was a hedgehog." Sonic reminded.

Tom gave Sonic an incredulous look. "Oh, you're in big trouble? You're not the one who punched some sort of government weirdo back there."

"He's lucky Sonic didn't punch him, otherwise he would've lost his head." Knuckles stated.

"You think you have problems?!" Sonic challenged. "I lost my rings!"

"Rings? What are you talking about?" Tom asks with a confused expression.

"Okay, Rings are how all advanced cultures travel between worlds. And now mine are on top of a pointy building I've only ever seen on your skin tight T-shirt!" Sonic says.

"Hey." Tom replies, offended.

"He's not wrong." Tails defended.

"So now I'd like you all to take me to San Francisco, so I can get back my rings and use them to get to the mushroom planet." Sonic concluded.

"Or, you could use the rings to go to places that doesn't involve mushrooms." Sonic suggested, still not liking the idea of his counterpart going to nasty world.

"Mushroom Planet." Tom repeated, skeptical.

"Yes!" Sonic answered.

"Right." Tom said.

"He doesn't believe him." Tails sighs, not one bit surprised.

Tom pulls over the car. "Okay, pal." He opens the passenger door. "Out you go."

"I'm sorry, what?" Sonic asked, confused.

"Come again??" Amy questioned in disbelief.

"Look, this is the worst possible time for me to get myself into trouble, okay?" Tom groused. "You asked me to save your life, I saved your life. Now, please, go find your Rings and your mushroom land. Hopefully I'm gonna wake up in a hospital bed and the doctor's gonna tell me that my colonoscopy was a big success. Okay? So, goodbye."

"I feel like that's a bit uncalled for." Tangle said, shaking her head.

"You can't really blame him." Silver defended. "He did assaulted a government agent."

Knuckles scoffed. "That 'government agent' was about to kill Tom if it wasn't for Sonic."

Blaze sighs. "Let's just hope, which they probably will, that the government doesn't find Tom a criminal and threaten his family."

"Okay. Goodbye." Sonic said with a sad expression.

"Goodbye." Tom says. But just as Sonic got out of his truck, he just stood there. "Why aren't you leaving?"

"We don't know where San Francisco is." Sonic replies in annoyance.

Tails nodded. "Yeah, just because Sonic's been living on earth for years doesn't automatically mean he knows his surroundings."
