          Flashback

The last family day, they didn't even study at Auradon Prep anymore, but they always had Sunday, which was like family day, so there was a table and they laughed and had fun together. It was a special day.

"Mal, sorry."

Tinker Bell said.

"What? Why?"

Mal opened her eyes in fear.

When she said that, Tinker Bell threw a tiny spark of flame towards Mal, who instantly absorbed the fire.

Flashback

"Me? Pregnant? I don't want a child."

The young Maleficent told the doctor that she was on the island examine villains.

(...)

"Annoying little girl, when are you going to do me serve a useful purpose?"

Maleficent screamed at the little child.

(...)

"You're just like your father! Weak like him."

The mother said just to make the child sad.

(...)

"Look at you, you got into a street fight because of that petty thief, now find a way to clean up that blood."

Outside or in the conscious world, Mal had tears in her eyes and the flame that had been small was now extremely large, but what was most striking was how this fire kept growing wildly

"That's enough, I'm going."

Jay, who was on the other side of the lake, wanted to get out of there and go to her friend.

"Wait, Jay."

Carlos pulled him back and made him sit down to watch what the half fairy and the other fairy were doing.

"Mal? Mal? Can you hear me?"

Tinkerbell, who was next to her, was feeling more than the others. The fire was really hurting her.

"Go away! You've always been a bad mother."

The real was confused with the unreal and Mal had no idea that he was shouting at the fairy and not his mother.

"Mal! I need you to come back!" Tinkerbell asked fearfully. "The place where you first felt peace!"

"Useless!"

Maleficent's voice kept echoing in his ears.

"No!"

Mal shouted and without realizing it hit a tree.

"Jay!"

Tinker Bell shouted loud enough for Mal to hear and remember his friend.

"Who told you to hit him, you idiot!"

Maly shoved his thirteen-year-old friend.

"He had a knife!"

"And you with a bruised face, I know how to defend myself."

"Okay, consider it a thank you for the other day."

"Okay, but next time I'll take care of myself."
