"Oi Zoro! You're here! Good to see you again, man!" Luffy exclaimed as he had just finished putting out the fire. However, he got distracted and made his two brothers take over.
"Yo Luffy. I see you're still the same as ever." Zoro spoke.
"Oh, hehehehe. yeah , you know... Same old, same old. By the way, you're with someone today?" Luffy asked as he saw a taller figure with a huge ball of woolly hair behind Zoro.
"Oh yeah, that's Brook. My detective friend. He's on this case with me for now. Apparently, the fire was caused by arson." Zoro said as he turned to Brook and back at Luffy.
"Oh cool cool cool cool cool cool." Luffy blabbered.
They both chatted for a while.
"Luffy! We're leaving! Let's go!" Ace shouted.
"Coming!" Luffy shouted back. "Alright then, it's great catching up with you, Zoro. See ya!"
"Bye Luffy. You have fun there, dude." Zoro said.
Zoro watched as his firefighter friend left in his fire truck. Zoro had been a police officer for about three years now. At least, he is a police captain. However, he would like to up his rank and become Chief of Police someday but he knows he still has a long way to go. As a police officer, regardless of position or rank, proper grooming and dress code must be strictly enforced. Therefore, Zoro wears his police uniform and to his own liking, sunglasses. He uses the sunglasses to block the sunlight out and conveniently hide his scar on his left eye.
At the same time, Zoro's hair had grown out due to him being too busy to care to have a haircut. He sometimes has to tie it up in a tiny ponytail which makes him look quite cool but it has started to bother him since he does not like his hair to be long.
During the weekend, conveniently he had a day off, Zoro was on his way to the barber he usually goes to. Unfortunately, when he had arrived, the barbershop was closed. He tried to find another barbershop to fill in for the previous one but he somehow could not find any. Instead, he found a beauty salon. He had no choice but to enter it as he had come all the way to just have his hair cut.
"Um... hello?" Zoro awkwardly said.
"Oh! That's unusual!" A blonde-haired man exclaimed, while attending to a long orange-haired woman, his hair was quite unusual. It was rather wavy, like he had permed it and it was parted all to one side, covering his right eye.
"What brings you here, good sir?" The blonde asked.
"I... want to have my hair cut." Zoro said shyly, thinking that he had made a bad decision entering the salon.
"Of course. What kind of hairstyle would you like then?" The kind blonde asked once more.
"Not sure, I just want to get rid of this length of hair. Not too long, not too short." Zoro answered.
"Very well then! Please, take a seat next to this lady here and after I am done with her hair, I'll come and fix yours." The blonde offered.
"Thanks." Zoro said.
Zoro sat at a station next to the orange-haired woman. The woman was well-dressed, almost as if she was going to an event or a gathering in that outfit. It was probably a reason why she was in the salon anyways. She was reading a magazine called "the Monthly One Piece Mag" - It's like the newspaper but with more trivia and lesser details - while having her hair done.
"So, why are you here?" The orange-haired woman asked.
"To get my haircut, I can't find any other barber shops here since the one I've always gone to is currently closed." Zoro replied, rather defensively.
