"She's here!" Jimin squealed like a teenage girl as he buzzed Jennie in after seeing her on the doorbell cam.
"Jimin, for fucks sake, calm down!" Taehyung groaned, pinching the bridge of his nose in sheer frustration.
"Aww my Taehyungie is growing up!" Jimin laughed before jumping onto the latter.
"Dude. Cut it out." Taehyung pleaded as he tried to pull his own little kangaroo off him.
"Okay okay. You smell.....good? What perfume is that, I like it. Anyways, you look, yeah you look fine I guess. Okay, you're good and she's here!" Jimin exclaimed excitedly as Taehyung regretted caving into his best friends persuasion to invite Jennie over.
Ever since today morning, when Taehyung very regrettably admitted to Jimin that he started liking Jennie, his best friend went berserk on him.
Forced him into a date, planned an entire event where he would suddenly be called in, and have them both finally get together.
That's how Jimin in his mind had begun to envision the evening.
Before Taehyung could even begin to try and get the overexcited adult to calm down, his doorbell rang and both of them froze.
Taehyung, after taking a deep breath slowly approached the door, unlocking it at the speed of a snail.
And the moment he did, he couldn't take his eyes off of her.
Jennie was dressed in a sleeveless white dress, her hair pinned up with little to no makeup. She looked...ethereal.
And he couldn't help but just stop and stare. Try to soak it all in.
She was quite literally radiance. Emitting nothing but pure light that he felt was his own type of sunlight.
It wasn't until Jimin cleared his throat behind him that Taehyung snapped out of it, noticing how the girl in front of him nervously tucked a strand of lose hair behind her ear.
"Oh, sorry. You-uh. You look nice today." Taehyung awkwardly said as he stepped to the side, allowing her to walk in.
She was never more thankful for that action because it effectively allowed her to hide the sudden heat that rose to her cheeks.
"Uh, thanks. You don't look to bad yourself." She smiled, taking off her shoes and switching them for the house guest slipped he laid out for her with a small thanks.
"Hi Jennie-ssi. It's our first time meeting, right?" Jimin smiled as he waved at the girl who smiled back.
"Yeah, kinda funny. Feels like we've had to have met before." She added as he nodded.
"I feel like I know too much about you to only see you now." He admitted as she chuckled.
"About me? Or about Rosie?" She called him out before walking in with a laugh, followed by Taehyung as Jimin only stood slack jawed at her bluntness of his crush on Roseanne.
