Part 1. The beginning

-I'm coming - Y/n said rushing to open the door

-Why you took forever to open the door? - Emily was y/n's younger sister, she was the free spirit of the family, Y/n loved her because she is always forcing her to get out of her comfort zone

-Hello to you too - y/n said closing the door - what was that important thing you had to say to me in person?

-Look what I got - Emily looked for something in her purse and giving them to Y/n

-Tickets for the Monaco Grand Prix?- she asked

-Not only tickets, I have paddock access too and you are coming with me

-No, I'm not - Y/n said leaving the tickets in the coffee table and head to the kitchen

-Yes, you are. Stop being so boring - Y/n is a very calm person even though she came from a really important family from Monaco and she was used to be in big and important events, she always liked her independence and stay out of her family plans - Come on! Maybe you get to see Carlos Sainz looking all hot and sexy, please!

-Alright, I'm going - Emily knew Y/n had a crush on the Spaniard driver

-I love you sis! - Emily hugged her - I have to go but I'll see you tomorrow for the Race day

Emily left the apartment, Y/n spent the day working and got ready for bed. The next morning, she woke up early and went for a run to start getting ready for the Grand Prix, she knew this was a massive event specially for Monaco so she needed to look good, she finished getting ready when she received a text from her sister

*: I'm downstairs waiting in the car
*: I'm coming down - Y/n replied

They arrived to the paddock and it was really crowded, media, celebrities, people walking all over the place, she started feeling a little bit overwhelmed

-There are my friends - Emily said pointing to a group of people

-Wait, you ditching me already?

-Sis, I'm just going to say hi

-Whatever Em, I'm going to grab a drink - Y/n rolled her eyes and started walking to find a drink, she was mad that Emily made her come to this event just to leave her alone

She started walking and a she spotted Ferrari Motorhome from the distance and there he was, Carlos Sainz and he indeed was so handsome as she pictured him, she couldn't take her eyes off of him and she was just standing there appreciating him until she bumped into someone and forced her to get out of her trance

-I'm so sorry - he said apologizing

-It's ok, I'm fine - she turned to look at him to meet with some beautiful green eyes

-Are you sure? I was rushing and I didn't see you - he said with a concerned look in his face

-Yes, I'm fine - she smiled at him

-I'm Lando by the way - he said giving her a warm smile

-Y/N - she said smiling back at him

-Are you lost? Do you need help? - he asked and she said no with her head - Are you with someone?

-I came here with my sister, I was just going to grab a drink

-I have to go but I hope to see you around Y/n - he left without taking his eyes off Y/n

Y/n felt really embarrassed with herself for acting like a fool watching Carlos Sainz from the distance and bumping into a cute guy, she found a place to have a drink without being surrounded with a lot of people and she decided to stay there to watch the race that was already starting, she didn't watch a lot of Formula 1 but she knew what car was from Carlos Sainz, he was P3 but he was struggling and a McLaren car overtook him, Y/n was really into the race when she noticed a woman with a McLaren shirt came closer to her

-Miss Y/n? - she asked her

-Yes

-Can you please come with me?

-Did I do something wrong? - Y/n was concerned

-No - she answered with a smile - Mr Norris asked for your presence in the McLaren garage, you can watch the race from there

-Ok - she decided to follow the woman but she still was confused, who was Mr Norris? And why he wanted her in the McLaren's garage

When she arrived to the garage, the woman gave her a headset to watch the race, she was so confused about what was happening while watching the race she saw that the McLaren car that overtook Carlos was Lando Norris and then she knew it, the guy she bumped earlier with was a driver for McLaren.

There was only one lap left and Lando was driving so fast and kept the position to the end, he finished P3 and all the team was happy and they started running to the podium and Y/n decided to go to watch him, she waited for him to get out as they presented the third place and it felt like he was looking for her in the crowd, his eyes met hers and he smiled at seeing her, he did his celebration and Y/n decided to wait for him down the podium to thank him.

-There you are - Lando said walking towards her with a smile

-So you are a Formula 1 driver

-Yes, I don't like to brag about it - he joked and make her smile

-Thank you for taking me into the garage and congrats on the podium - she said giving him a soft look

-What about having dinner with me to celebrate? - he said with a flirty smile

-Sounds good - Y/n said while smiling to him

She knew in that moment that this could be the beginning of something beautiful.
