Part 8. Last night

The next morning you woke up in Carlos's hotel room still confused and mad about Lando's attitude, you reached out to grab your phone and there was no sign of Lando not even a text, you sighed in disappointment because you didn't understand why Lando was acting this way being distant and cold but now he was flirting with girls in front of you and the thought of it made you mad and sad.

You covered your face with your hands but you didn't want to think about it, you got up from the bed, put your hair in a bun and got out of the room and Carlos was watching the tv.

-Good morning, sunshine - he looked at you with a smile on his face - how did you sleep?

-Good morning - you gave him a soft smile - I slept good but I haven't heard from Lando

-Don't worry, you guys will fix it later - he said trying to comfort you - but first, breakfast

Carlos looked at you with a smile and you knew he was trying to cheer you up, Carlos was one of Lando's best friends and in the year you have been dating Lando, Carlos was always around so you and Carlos became good friends.

-Ok, what do we have here? - Carlos said walking to the little kitchen the hotel room had looking confused

-Are you sure of what you doing? - you looked at him and laugh

-Not really, this is my first time cooking breakfast in a hotel room

Carlos looked for all the ingredients and he started to cook you some eggs for breakfast, he looked so invested in the cooking and you forgot about everything and you were staring at him thinking on how the F1 driver you had a crush on a year ago was in front of you cooking you breakfast and not only that, he was now your friend and he was an amazing person, always nice and caring with you.

Both of you sat down at the small table the hotel room had

-This hotel room is quite big - you said pouring coffee in a cup

-It is, we requested for the bigger one because I was staying here a few more days with Caco before leaving for Monza but he went back to Madrid to take care of some things

-Is he going to be in Monza?

-Yes, he attends all my races - you nodded

-These eggs are really good, thank you Carlos - you said with a smile and he looked at you with a proudly smile

-I knew it, I'm a chef - he giggled

-You definitely are - your phone started ringing a lot, you grabbed it and you had a lot of notifications and messages from followers

You opened Instagram and you were being tagged in a lot of pictures of Lando last night with girls after you left the club, you felt a hole in your stomach and instantly felt sick, you couldn't believe what you were seeing, you received a new notification but this time it was a video, you clicked on it

You started to feel nervous and decided to read the comments which made it worse, Carlos noticed how your mood changed

-What is wrong? - he asked concerned

You looked at him and gave him your phone, he started to look at all the posts about Lando and the girls

-I think you should talk to him first before believing on this

-There are pictures and videos of him with different girls Carlos

-I know what are you thinking and I understand it but you need to talk to him first - he reached out to grabbed your hand - Stop looking at that, it makes it worse

Both of you stare at each other and you found calm in his eyes, you started to get lost in his eyes but then you received a text, you let go of Carlos's hand and grabbed your phone and it was Lando

*: Y/n please, we need to talk

-It is Lando - you said looking at Carlos - he says we need to talk

-You should talk to him

-Yeah, I have to go - you said standing up from the table and Carlos followed you

-Y/n - you heard Carlos and you turned around to face him

-Yes?

-No matter what happens, I'll always support you and I'll be here for you
