At 2:30pm, Michelle woke up and moved her hair out of her face. Zelina walked in and Michelle attempted to detach herself from the IV. Zelina stopped her.
Zelina: Oh, no, you don't. You haven't been dismissed, yet. Do you remember who I am, Michelle?
Michelle (half-smiling): Yes, I remember who you are, Zelina. I remember everything. I just wish I didn't remember the pain.
Zelina: What happened to you last night?
Michelle: I had to go through some tests that involved dealin' with the wilderness.
Zelina: You went missin', Michelle. Sensei Martinez said that he heard you screamin' over the phone, and then, it disconnected. Nobody could find you. Not the police, not the FBI, nor the CIA. It's like you fell off the face of the earth. Did the Black Market get you?
Michelle: No, I didn't get kidnapped by the Black Market.
Mandy walked in with the Judgment Day members and stopped.
Mandy: Hey, I hate to break up this little conversation that you guys are havin', but our patient has visitors.
Zelina: Don't take off the IV, until, we check you out.
She got off the bed and began to walk out.
Michelle: Hey, Zelina.
Zelina turned around and looked at her.
(We should hang out more once I get out of here. You can help me heal and teach me more about Hispanic culture including the language. I always remembered your face, but I could never remember your name, until, I fell off of Death Grove Bridge into the water on the anniversary of the car crash that I was in. I'm sorry.)
Zelina hugged her and they shed two tears.
Zelina: You don't have to be sorry. You weren't the one to blame, Michelle. I'll be back with some food for you.
Michelle: Okay.
She walked out of the hospital room and TJD members sat down on Michelle's bed with her.
Damian: So, how're you feelin'?
Michelle: Sore, wrecked, and betrayed.
Rhea: Michelle, we had to do it. It was the only way you would get your memory back.
Michelle: Really, are you that demented to the point where I almost died because of your sick, evil, twisted, psychotic games? Mamba venom, bear trap chairs with electricity, a water-filled aquarium, and puttin' keys into people's stomachs. Who are you guys, Jigsaw?
Finn: Well, you can say that, but we're the modern day version of Jigsaw. We take the criminals off the streets and force them to play their games. Pedophiles, rapists, molesters, thieves, drug dealers, prostitutes, pimps, and our favorite, gangs. You name what kind of criminal that's on your mind and we've got'em.
Damian: You were just a bonus. The cherry on top. Our method worked in a criminally insane way it did, but you're alive, and you're safe.
Michelle: No, I'm not. I killed someone last night.
Damian: In self-defense, she was gettin' ready to blow your brains out, instead of, removin' the key from her stomach. Self-defense is not murder. It's not a crime, Michelle.
Michelle: I can't live here anymore, now, that I know you guys' secret. The word is already out about the first ever livin' survivor who survived the vigilantes of the night's game. I don't wanna have to deal with that.
Dominik: What would you say to'em if they asked you about us?
Michelle: That you guys are a myth and there's someone else pretendin' to be your faction. I've just never seen their faces before.
Rhea: We knew you would win. You're comin' with us once you've been released.
Damian: Hey, you guys, give us a second, will you?
They hugged her before walking out of the room leaving Damian behind and Damian put his forehead against Michelle's.
Michelle: What do you see in me that you find so attractive?
Damian: I can't put my finger on it, yet.
Michelle: I see that you're givin' black, purple, and gray a break.
They laughed a little bit and he put his hand on her cheek.
Damian: Yeah, I am.
Michelle: White is a good color on you. It makes you look more relaxed.
He kissed her lips instantly and they held onto each other. He kissed her forehead and cheeks.
Michelle: Damian, please, I can't do this with my sensei's son--.
He gave her another kiss.
Damian: Yes, you can. I'm not gettin' any younger, Michelle. Rhea's right, you know, you're comin' with us, and we're not gonna take no for an answer. You're a survivor, Michelle, always has been, always will be.
Michelle got out of the bed and walked towards the window. She looked out at the view and Damian held her from behind.
Michelle: I have a life here, Damian. Helpin' your father out by cleanin' his dojo, I have a house, money in the bank, and a career that I need to get back to.
Damian: Have you ever thought that you should have a man to add to your life. A man that can enhance you and you can fall asleep in his arms at night, instead of, I don't know holdin' onto arms pretendin'. I wanna be that man, Michelle. You've been through hell and back, and now, I'm waitin' for you with open arms at the end of the tunnel for to run into me. Let me keep you safe this time.
She turned around and looked at him.
Michelle: I don't know what to tell ya, Damian. I--.
He kissed her again and they started making out. She broke the kiss and held onto him.
Michelle: What am I gonna tell Sensei Martinez?
Damian: That love found you.
Michelle: Okay, we can give it a try.
Damian: That wasn't just mamba venom you were injected with. Don't be surprised when you wake up pregnant.
She closed her eyes and listened to their heartbeats in sync while trying to contain her shocking emotions.
