12. Is that- Smoke..?

hello again! i am in fact not dead. (just on a hiatus) another chapter, another adventure. so let's begin!
(sorry if the writing style is a tad different, kinda forgot how to write lol)

y/n POV

"well, let's not waste any time" phil said as he started walking towards the woods

"c'mon let's go guys!!" i cheered, dashing off into the forest grabbing tommy and tubbo's hands

"wait for us you guys!" ranboo called after us, sprinting ahead

3rd person POV

the trio halted to a stop and looked around, basking in the beauty of the forest

the place look magical and enchanting. the tress had a glint of blue on it.

various butterflies fluttered through the air, the place looked like it came right out of a fairytale.

who knew the overworld could be so beautiful and colorful?

2nd person POV (or whatever it's called lmao)

you started to bask in the sun's warmth and light. the rays of light hitting your face and h/c hair.

you didn't notice but in the distance tubbo was staring at you with awestruck look in his eyes.

a faint blush was starting to appear in his face as he realized he was staring at you. he quickly looked away and started to kick a rock.

"the forest is breathtaking.." you said while exhaling. you closed your eyes taking a deep breath in, the smell of trees and smoke.

wait- smoke..? you aren't supposed to smell smoke in a forest..

something was wrong.

something was clearly wrong.

and you had to fix it.

wowzers. it's been a long time since i wrote a chapter. i had this chapter just laying unfinished and i thought i should finish it. i hate to say it but i forgot how much i loved writing for y'all. i might come back, but no promises.
before i sign off once again, i will probably remake this book into a uh- better one cuz this one kinda sucks lmao.
