The King's Throne Room.
"We then came here, that is everything that transpired." Mr Martin explained to the king.
"I see" The young prince nodded, understanding the situation. "But Sato is currently the purple Dragon Group's Leader. We cannot make any large decisions as is. I must first seek advice from the Regent."
"This is a joke, right? No way this kid is the King, how does this even happen!?", Ben thought as Modo and Sophisas stood beside Martin.
"You Highness, The Purple Dragon team raised the prices of materials within the city." Sophisas said, "Doing this also increased the burden on the citizens of the city. Is this okay?"
The young king began to get nervous, "The Regent said that the current military budget is very tight, we should let it go for now."
Ben jumped in, "But it didn't go to the military, it was embezzled."
"I despise people who embezzle the most!" A voice boomed at the end of the large throne room.
Ben looked around confusedly to see the Regent.
"He reminds me of Vilgax, watch him be the main baddie behind all this", Ben joked internally.
The king raised his brow, "Royal Uncle, why are you here?"
The Regent stepped past Ben, bumping him out of the way as he walked past,
"...Rude", Ben mumbled
"Your Highness, I heard that there was some sort of conflict on the Western Border, so I came through to check up on what was going on. I just found out that the Second in Charge of the Purple Dragon Group inflated the prices of the golden alloy stones and embezzled the military budget." The regent spoke deeply with an authoritative tone. "I've already dealt with him accordingly."
The Regent smirked, " I have a deep hate for thieves!"
"But...Hm" Sophisas sighed
"So, the prices of the gold alloy stones in the future...." Mr Martin questioned.
The Regent turned to face Martin, "You're one of our most valuable assets Mr Martin. Your students are also rather important.
The Regent looked at Ben with a piercing gaze, to the Regent's intrigue, Ben hadn't flinched or grown worried, he kept his nonchalant and uninterested look.
"What's he looking at me for?", Ben thought confusedly.
"You Highness, I have a suggestion." the Regent began.
"Please advise," the young king asked.
"Why don't we transfer the duty for collecting the gold alloy stones to the White Dragon Group and the Forgery Class?"
Everyone's eyes widened at his suggestion. "What?"
'Regent, are you serious?" Mr Martin asked.
"I'm aware that the stones sill need further refinery, so I already spoke with Mr Yalu on the matter." The regent added.
"But, the military budget..." The king questioned.
"Will now be the responsibility of the White Dragon Team"
"This seems too sketchy, I'm watching you Mr Regent" Ben thought.
The king smiled, "Then let's do as advised by the Regent. Martin, I would still like you to do something."
