I never thought I would fit into the classroom as if I was a jigsaw puzzle piece. But when I met Aiko, my thoughts floated away like the gentle breeze on a spring morning.

Arabella on the other hand, was...Frightening I guess. She always gave me ThE BoMbAsTiK SiDe EyE and glaring at me every second or so.

As the recess bell rang, Miss Eden nodded her head while typing some documents on her laptop and everyone rushed outside. I was going slow paced and Aiko was beside me, like a friend would normally do.

"Hey Aki?" Aiko asked me as we walked out of the classroom. Laughter and chatter wafted across the air. "Do you wanna sit where I normally sit down to eat?"

I held the pack of gummies in my hand. "Yeah, of course! I'd be happy to."

As Aiko and I were chattering, someone snatched my gummy snack out of my hand! I turned around.

"Oops!" Arabella sneered, "Sorry, loser!" She tore open the packet. "Ooh! Gummy bears! I'm taking it!"

"Argh! Arabella! Stop! They're MINE. If you wanna eat it, buy it yourself!" I gritted my teeth. Arabella was so annoying.

She popped a bear into her mouth. "Sorry. Finders keepers!"

My face turned red and hot and Aiko looked a bit nervous.

That was when Arabella punched me in the face. I tumbled to the ground.

"Tomato head! Tomato head! You look like a tomato head!" She chanted in a sing-song voice, "Look! She actually has tomato juice spilling out of her nose, and that purple eye looks like a rotten part! Rotten tomato head! LOL!!"

"It's called NOSE-BLEED and a BLACK-EYE, Arabella." Aiko remarked in a professer voice.

"Okay, whatever, Professer Einstein." Arabella hissed, turning to run away.

"Oh my goodness! What happened here!?" Miss Eden rushed over. "Aki! Are you okay?"

Aiko stepped forward. "Arabella stole Aki's recess snack and then she ate it, punched Aki in the face and called her a tomato head and rotten tomato head." She reported.

"Teacher's pet." Arabella huffed under her breath.

Miss Eden glared at Arabella. Arabella stared back.

"I'm writing a note to your parents about this!" Miss Eden growled. "They will have to come and talk about your behaviour tomorrow."

"Nooo!! That's child abuse!" Arabella whined and stamped her foot three times and screamed: "THAT IS CHILD ABUSE!"

"No it is not!" Miss Eden shouted. "And that's final!"

After Arabella got time-out, Aiko and Miss Eden took me up to the medical room in the front office.

"My goodness! What happened here?" A lady at the front desk replied.

"Got punched in the face on purpose." Miss Eden sighed.

The lady nodded and introduced her to me. "I'm Claudia."

She got up fron her seat and walked with me as Aiko and Miss Eden walked out of the office. I entered the medical room.

Claudia gently placed cold compresses onto my bruise and used tissues to pinch my nose to stop it from bleeding. I rested on the comfy seat.

She walked out and came back with a clipboard and a pen. Clipped on the clipboard was a piece of paper.

"So, what is your full name?" She asked as she uncapped her blue-ink pen.

"I'm Aki Tsukino. A-K-I, T-S-U-K-I-N-O." I said, still pinching my nose.

Claudia nodded and scribbled it down. "Room number?"

"Room 2." I answered.

"M-hm..." She replied and jotted it down.

"What is your cause to be here in the medical room?"

"Punched in the face." I responded as I touched the ice resting on my bruise.

She dotted it down and turned to me.

"All good!"

I rested there until the end-of-recess bell rang. Claudia then came back to the room and nodded at me.

"You can go to class now. And I'll give you some ice to put on your bruise and your nose isn't bleeding anymore." She said as she opened the freezer and pulled out some ice cubes.

She wrapped the ice cubes in a thick tissue made from cotton and handed it over to me.

"Keep it on your bruise."

I said thank you and goodbye and I walked back to the classroom, holding the ice next to my bruised eye.
