Shreyansh's Pov:-

It was getting dark outside as I sat on the couch in Aanshi's home. The light from my computer made my face glow softly.

I was supposed to be working, but I felt so happy and peaceful just being near her. Living without Aanshi for two years made me want to be with her even more.

I kept looking over at Aanshi. She was curled up in a big chair, reading a book. Seeing her look so relaxed made me smile.

But then I frowned as I remembered the danger that was always around her.

Aanshi didn't know about the dangers that were near her. To her, this was just our cozy home a safe place.

But I knew the scary truth.

There were bad people out there who wanted to hurt her, and I had to protect her no matter what.

I thought about all the times people had tried to hurt her before. It made my chest feel tight with worry.

Each time reminded me that I could never stop being careful, not even for a second. Not when Aanshi's life was in danger.

I must have made a sad noise, because Aanshi suddenly looked up from her book with a worried face.

"Hey, are you okay?"

I blinked fast, trying to stop thinking about scary things. I tried to smile to make her feel better.

"Yeah, of course. I'm okay. Just working on some stuff for my job."

Aanshi raised one eyebrow, looking like she didn't believe me. She put her book down.

"You look... worried. Like something's bothering you."

"It's nothing, really," I lied, not wanting to make her worried too.

"I'm just a little distracted tonight."

"Hmm." Aanshi looked at me carefully for a moment before getting up and walking over to me.

Without saying anything, she gently took the computer from my hands and put it aside.

"Hey! What are you-"

"Shh." She stopped me from talking by sitting on my lap, facing me.

She held my face in her soft hands and looked deep into my eyes.

"You've had that sad, worried look all night. And I know it's not just about work."

I felt tense as she looked at me so closely. I held my breath. She always knew what I was feeling.

"Please, talk to me," Aanshi said in a quiet but firm voice, gently rubbing my cheek.

"You don't have to keep all your feelings inside. I'm here for you."
