Third Person's Pov:-

In the evening..

Shreyansh arrived at the farmhouse in the evening.

He spotted Ekaansh lounging by the pool, sipping a drink that looked suspiciously like it contained more fruit than liquid.

"Well, well, look what the cat dragged in," Ekaansh called out, lowering his sunglasses to peer at Shreyansh.

"Or should I say, look what the window spat out? You look like you've been in a fight with a leaf blower, my friend."

Shreyansh flopped down on the lounge chair next to Ekaansh, groaning dramatically.

"Don't ask. Let's just say my attempt at being romantic backfired spectacularly. I think I pulled muscles I didn't even know I had."

Ekaansh snorted into his drink.

"Let me guess. You tried to surprise princess in the morning and ended up surprising yourself instead? Please tell me there's video evidence. I could use a good laugh."

"Ha ha, very funny," Shreyansh grumbled, but there was no real anger behind it.

"For your information, it was supposed to be a grand romantic gesture. Breakfast in bed, candles, the whole thing. Instead, I got a face full of curtain and nearly gave her father a heart attack."

Ekaansh burst out laughing, nearly choking on his fruity concoction.

"Oh man, I would have paid good money to see that! Please tell me you at least landed well when you fell through the window."

Shreyansh shot him a glare that could have made milk go bad.

"I didn't fall, I... smoothly entered. With style and class."

"Uh-huh," Ekaansh said, not even trying to hide his grin.

"And I'm the Queen of England. Come on, spill the beans. I want all the juicy details. Did you at least manage to save some of your dignity?"

Shreyansh sighed, a rueful smile tugging at his lips.

Ekaansh nearly fell off his chair laughing.

"Oh my god, this just keeps getting better! Please tell me there are pictures. This needs to be saved forever. Or at least for your wedding slideshow."

"Don't you dare," Shreyansh warned, but he was fighting back a smile.

"Besides, shouldn't you be focusing on your own love life instead of laughing at mine? Speaking of which, what's the deal with you and Aarushi? You've been making eyes at her like a lovesick puppy ever since she got back."

Ekaansh's laughter died down, replaced by a more serious expression.

"She's... she's the one, man. I know it sounds cheesy as hell, but it's true. Seeing her again after all this time, it's like... it's like everything just clicked into place, you know?"

Shreyansh sat up straighter, surprised by the sudden change in tone.

"Wow, that's... that's big, dude. I mean, I knew you had a thing for her back in the day, but I didn't realize it was still so strong. Have you talked to her about it?"

Ekaansh took a long sip of his drink, his jaw tightening.

"Not exactly. It's... complicated. I mean, she broke my heart, remember? Just up and left without a word. Part of me wants to sweep her off her feet, and the other part wants to demand answers for why she disappeared  me like that."

"Ouch," Shreyansh winced sympathetically.

"That's rough, buddy. But hey, maybe she had her reasons? I mean, people don't usually just vanish into thin air for no good reason, right?"

"That's what I keep telling myself," Aksh sighed.

"But it doesn't make it any easier. I look at her, and all I can think about is how much I've missed her, how much I still care about her. But then I remember the pain of her leaving, and it's like a punch to the gut all over again."

Shreyansh reached over and clapped Ekaansh on the shoulder.

"Look, man, I know it's not easy. But if she really is 'the one,' don't you think it's worth at least hearing her out? Maybe there's more to the story than you know."

Ekaansh nodded slowly, a determined look crossing his face.

"You're right. I need to talk to her, get some answers. But I swear, if she doesn't have a damn good explanation for breaking my heart, things are not going to be pretty."

"Easy there, tiger," Shreyansh chuckled.

"Let's not go full soap opera just yet. Why don't you start with a simple 'Hey, can we talk?' instead of ambushing her with a dramatic speech?"

Ekaansh couldn't help but laugh.

"Fine, fine. I'll try the civilized approach first. But if that doesn't work, I reserve the right to go full telenovela on her. I've been practicing my shocked face in the mirror."

"Oh god," Shreyansh groaned, but he was grinning.

"Just promise me you won't slap her and dramatically reveal that you're actually her long-lost evil twin or something."

"No promises," Ekaansh smirked.

"But speaking of dramatic reveals, shouldn't you be getting ready for your big day? Or are you planning on walking down the aisle with Viaanshi's socks still stuck to your hairs?"

Shreyansh's eyes widened in horror as he reached up to pat his hair, only to find it thankfully socks-free.

"Very funny," he grumbled, standing up.

"I'll have you know I clean up very nicely, thank you very much."

"I'll believe it when I see it," Ekaansh teased.

"Just try not to trip over your own feet at the altar, Romeo. I don't think my family can handle any more of your 'smooth' antics."

As Shreyansh walked away, flipping Ekaansh the bird over his shoulder, he couldn't help but smile.

Despite the chaos and embarrassment of the morning, he felt a warm glow of happiness in his chest.

In just a few short days, he'd be marrying the love of his life the woman who could make him laugh even when he was tangled up in curtains and covered in socks.

Life was good, even if it came with a few unexpected window dives along the way.
