I'm so happy to tell you that I signed up my book for the Watty 2024 awards.
This is such a big deal for me. I can't stop smiling about it.
I know I probably won't win,
but that's okay. Just being part of it means so much to me.
It makes my heart feel warm to know that you'll are liking my writing. Your faith in me gives me strength.
I never thought I could do this. It seemed like a far-off dream, something that happens to other people, not to me.
But here I am,my book in the running, all because you'll encouraged.
Before, I was just writing
in my little corner, not sure if anyone would ever read my words.
Now, I feel like I'm part of something bigger. I'm in a community of writers, all of us sharing our stories.
It's scary, but exciting too.
I'm nervous about people reading my work, but also thrilled at the thought.
Win or lose, I'll always be thankful for this opportunity. It's opened my eyes to what's possible.
So thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
